Am I missing something?

While battling the Dark Wizard to rescue Princess Evangeline Finala was killed. Shortly after I hear "Daddy!" and needed to exit the game before trying to resurrect her thinking when I return her corpse should still be there. When I return the Necromancer cannot resurrect her because there is no corpse. Sure enough her corpse is gone; however, her character panel is still on screen with a head stone showing. I cannot open her character panel to click disband either. It seem I am stuck with a dead character occupying a spot and I cannot get back to her or disband her. Is there a solution other than of course a new game? Thanks for your help.

I had the same problem

I had a post on March 10 (Lost Corpse) which described pretty much the same problem. My loss was of my main character, and I was never able to recover it. I looked everywhere in that same chamber to find my corpse, but it was gone. I had to start the game over.

My post was viewed over 200 times, but apparently no one knew of a solution. If you find one, please post it. I would like to pick up that game where I left off, and finish it.

Dead

To auto-resurect the dead just quit the game to the start panel click under your character you arrive where you last saved.

I found a solution and maybe it will help with you. Since I could not open my dead character panel or find the corpse I was unable to resurrect or disband them. I used the command Ctrl + D to disband and it askedd me if I wanted to disband Finala. I disbanded her and picked her back up at the Inn. If your main character's panel is still present but with a head stone in it's place this may work. Thanks for addressing my post and good luck.

Thanks for the suggestion. I gave it a try, but because it was my main character, I was unable to disband him. If you hear of any other options, please let me know. Thanks.
