Quick Guide to find Master Blacksmith. (Spoiler)

Post by Siberys »

EDIT: Whoops, forgot to add a spoiler tag. If someone could do that, please do so.

::SPOILERS::

Alrighty, I've seen the threads a lot of times, and I decided to make a quick guide to the master blacksmith. The first set of swamps you go to, the phocian swamps (everybody goes to them, it's along the way to the next part of the game), when you exit it, you'll be in lower delphi. So, before the first bridge in lower delphi, go straight ahead instead of going on the bridge, you'll find the master blacksmith.

If that isn't enough Detail, I'll provide images-

I hope this helps to all who needed to know where the master blacksmith is.

We have a walkthrough here, which is complete for the first act. The location of the blacksmith and many other things can be found there.

True, but people tend to not look there, which is why I took the time to place it here. The walkthrough is fine, I love it, but the thread about "master blacksmith" has shown up numerous times now, so I made a thread about it.

Hmm. I'll sticky this thread for now since it is one of the more common questions.
Thanks for providing a definitive answer to it Sib. :)

I think that sticking this thread is an excellent idea. Eventhough it's a bit of a spoiler, I had one hell of a hard time to find the dude and I am a patient man.

This was definately the hardest normal play quest for me as well, after the first thread about it, I found him without a problem.

Funny, I find this to be as easy as any other side quest to complete. I see the blacksmith's green dot on the auto map well before I get to the spot where the inconspicuous path goes up the hill to his location. It stands out like a sore thumb.

I wanted to add, since other people have asked about this in other posts. Despite what the walkthrough says, this is a unique merchant. First, he is the first merchant to offer standard health and mana potions. Second, he pays something on the order of 50% more for items than do other merchants. So, he is very much worth finding as one wanders the wilderness in search of Delphi.
