KotOR III Storyline and Remarks
KOTOR3 story
This is what i think the new game should be like
I think that new game should start off with the republic trying to rebuild what the sith destroyed and the sith vanished out of republic space. You are a Jedi in training and you are based in a secret location on tatooine. The excile from the second game is your master and he says that you ave nearly compleated your training all you need now is a lightsaber but u can onli find the crystals in a cave on dantooine where jedis where trained so you go and you get the crystal but you sense that something isn't right in the force so you go back to tatooine and talk to the excile and you build your lightsaber and you are now a jedi. He then tells you to goto Coruscant to the jedi council and tell them about what u sensed on dantooine and they then ask you what exacaly did u sense and you say it was dark old evil or sumfin like that and they reply ok you may now go and report anything else that you sense to us, You then go and the council then start talking about what you said and a woman comes in out of the dark and says i think he has returned and the counicl say who r u and she pulls the hood down and its bastilla, the council start sayin we thought u were dead and she says i would like to investigate this mission and the council say ok then seeing as though u ave spent time with that person.
In the end you find out its raven and he is after greater power and you have to fight him and choose if you want the power or 2 get rid of the power. You go through each of the planets that reven went to in the first game and also some new planets aswell as some from the second game you can also go to outer rim of the galaxy on your search and when you meet jedi's then they can teach you new techneques. you will also get a new crew and see some of the old crew and also the wreckage of the Ebon hawk
well what do you think of my plot

But Revan isn't evil! He (maybe) made some mistakes in the past, but he was only trying to help the galaxy. He went to the Unknown Space to fight something that treatens the Republic.

ok, i just want to say one thing, this thread is for ideas on kotor3, if they dont match up with what has already be told to us from the first 2 games, that means that they just need to be revised. Who says the revan isnt evil? maybe he wants to help the republic stay alive so he has something to rule. or maybe he is a good guy and wants the real "bad guys" to stay away from his friends. we wont know until the game comes out (if it even does), so i think that the idea is pretty good. one more thing, who said that the exile and revan are working together, who said that revan was good or bad, who said that the exile was good or bad? i think the game should start you off as a young jedi learning of revan's downfall, and how he came back and destroyed the star forge (saving the republic for his gains or not). you should also learn of how the exile either stayed on malachorr v or ran after revan in the outer rim
Story
( i probly already wrote an idea neway)
15-20 years after kotor2
well mostlikely it should start off with the exile and his crew flying off to the outer rim to find revan, u start off as a new character who the exile finds and u join with him, u go to like 7 or 8 planets trying to find netin about revam ( p.s i think the exploration on the planets shuld be bigger and definelty BIGGer Cities ) and wen u do eventually find him ( by now ud be either Ds or Ls iuno wat to do with neutral ) u meet revan if ur ds at the sith academy or if ur Ls u find him looking for the true sith? ( Ds= U go fight republic and thers a like a HUGE Battle kinda battlefront 2-- Ls = u go find the true sith? ) eventually u kill the True sith or the republic.
thats 1 of my ideas , not too detailed.
my bad not kill but like get a victory over 1 of them

I like the ideas of
-starting on Coruscant
-starting as some sort of padawan.
-rebuilding the jedi order - though who rebuilds it, given the ending of KOTOR2, I'm not sure.
-the quest concerning following Revan and the Exile to the outer rim.
But I would suggest that
- Both Revan and the Exile are dead. This would solve many of the problems over appearance etc.
- You would be, however, related to one of or both of them in some way. Just because that's how SW stories seem to go. Perhaps an iligitimate child of one of them, or some such thing.

Firstly, to all those people who are suggesting bringing characters such as Zaalbar, Mission, and Jolee into KotOR 3 it cant be done because you had the option to kill these characters in KotOR 1.
Secondly during the main quest of the game you should travel to four planets as you did in 1 and 2. Possibly Dantooine, Coruscant, Alderaan, Korriban. You could add a planet at the beginning which you start from and one at the end.
Also the game should not leave and opening for KotOR 4. Star Wars works well in trilogy's I think that has proven itself!
The Hawk should make a comeback. Maybe found in the Unknown Regions by salvagers and brought to the starting planet where you use it to escape. T3 and HK should be onboard it.
You should start with a new Jedi at level one. Revan and the Exile should not be NPC's although you could possibly meet them at some point.
Just my 2 cents.

Blue. Classic.

I wouldn't want Dantooine or Korriban in KotOR III in actual gameplay unless their maps were drastically increased, because that was disappointing to me in KotOR II, esspecially Korriban. If any Dark Side planet should be visited, it should be a completely new one or Yavin IV, and for planets with Jedi Temples, probably Coruscant since I can't think of any other ones.
As for the character being an illegitimate child or either Revan or the Exile, I would have to say he/she would be the Exile's son/daughter. He had far more chances to get frisky with certain crewmates than Revan ever did.
I dont think the new character could be the son/daughter of the exile or Revan as this would mean they would have had to have been male to leave behind a pregnant Bastila/Handmaiden. Shame it was a nice idea.
There are ways around that (i.e. it happened before either of the games), but probably too tentative for it to happen. Bah, back to the drawing board.
I don't know about others, but I had enough of the Star Forge. In the first part I've gone trough lots of trouble to destroy it, and I don't want it back from the dead. As for the new one, who would create it? Rakatans won't, and noone else knows how.
quite honestly, obrad, i prefer the star forge over M5 (minus the constant onslaught of enemies. put in codes and its fun, just pwn em all up/down, however you wanna look at it, but w/o the codes, its hard to fight off turrets and troopers and dark jedi with 3 characters.
In this episode, the battle opens like the original did: You’re on the starship Sovereign, Carth Onasi’s flagship, and you’re being attacked by Sith. You wake up to find you and Canderous locked in a jail cell, badly wounded. Canderous’s wounds look terrible, and he’s unconscious. As you journey through the ship, you find an old friend. Mical apparently recognizes you and begs you to help. The Dark Jedi have Admiral Onasi locked up on the bridge. You have to get to him.
After rescuing Onasi, he lets you in on a secret: You’re a prisoner, who was found at the decimated Mandalorian camp on Dxun, half dead. “Mandalore” is the other survivor, but you later learn that six of your Mandalorian comrades survived and are being held on board. He mentions that you’re not a Mandalorian, however, that your paperwork indicates you were staying at the camp when it was suddenly attacked, killing almost everyone. Onasi says you were en route from the edge of known space, the planet Malachor V, where Revan and the Exile were last seen. Suddenly you have a flashback, and you remember that you are a Jedi, one of Revan’s top generals, and a close friend of the Exile. Suddenly the astromech droid (T3M4) seizes up and shows you a hologram of Revan, begging for help.
The Split Level Playing
Although you got a taste of this in Kotor II, this is even better. Welcome back, Revan old buddy old pal. That’s right. You get to play as Revan fighting wave after wave after wave of New Sith warriors, and right beside you is your old friend the Exile, and T3-M4.
its pretty good, but if T3 shows you an image on the bridge of the ship of Revan pleading for help, how are you fighting of waves of Sith with him?

Revan- dark side, male
Exile-dark side, male
Characters: Bastila (if she did not die on Star Forge in KOTOR I, if she did, this is replaced by a young Dark Jedi called Tenaala Vann, who served Revan as an assassin, and you meet her on the planet Aalderaan) Canderous, Zaalbar, a very un-characteristically dark Disciple, Hanharr, Handmaiden, New characters, HK.
Revan- dark side, female
Exile- dark side, female
Characters: (Obviously no Carth, so this gets replaced with a soldier resembling him, named Rojan Toole, who served the Republic and later left to become a wanderer), Canderous, Zaalbar, Kaevee, Disciple, Hanharr, Atton. HK and those lovely new characters

if Zaalbar is a playable character, why isnt Mission? she goes everywhere with Zaalbar. if you killed her on DS on K1, you have to kill Zaalbar to. or if you had Zaalbar do it for you, then you go to the star forge, then Zaalbar snaps out of it and attacks you, requiring killing the poor wookiee. also, if the Exile and Revan are dark side, why would they be fighting off waves of sith? they cant all be vying for the title of Sith Lord, as its only available when you go one-on-one between master and apprentice ("Always two there are. No more, no less. A master, and an apprentice." Star Wars Episdoe I: The Phantom Menace, spoken by Yoda)? only way i could think of is that the sith they're fighting off dont believe that Revan is the appropriate Sith Lord, or they want to be the apprentice and try to kill the Exile, and Revan defendes him (why idk. the exile is a tool imo). so if they fight off so many sith, what sith would be left for you to fight your way TO Revan and the Exile?
Don't get me wrong, the storyline is an AWESOME idea and i dont hate it at all, i actually like it. it just needs some touch ups.
My thoughts r that u should be Revan, and have bastilla in ur party soon after starting...at the FIRST planet u go to, no matter what 1 it is, the exile should join ur party. the story should be the 3 of u (and the others that join u) trying to fix the republic as a jedi, or conqer the galaxy as a sith...
that would be hot. Maybe make the others a mix of the two crews from the games.

Obviously, on one level we're all talking about what we'd really like to see in an ideal game, which is ace. But on a more practical level, think about how much programming/ voice acting/ possible glitches could arise from having THAT many options over who's in your party or not. There are suggestions that we should be able to choose Revan and the Exile's appearance, as well as our own. Now, I've said this before, but think about somebody completely new to KOTOR loading up the game. They're thinking: "who the hell is Revan?"
I can't see anything happening that would ruin the experience of a first time player. I preferred those parts of KOTOR2 that referenced the first game without being too obvious - the Handmaiden talks about the holographs of Jolee Bindo, for example - which is, to my mind, much mroe in keeping with the Star Wars style.
I did, however, quite like padawan5447's beginning, up until the Revan bit.

um, you can do it, the developers could say that revan was good. its as easy as that. i think that a large number of people would like revan to be good after he " fell to the dark side".

this might just be me, but i dont want to play as the exile ever again, and i dont want revan to be the main character either. i still stand by my idea of starting off on a selectable world with a new character. it would be nice if you were on a trade ship and you get to walk around. one of the crew members starts a chat with you and you say were you are goin (sets up what planet you start on). you can also tell him if you are a jedi that escaped when the sith acadamy fell, dantooine was attacked, or you can tell him you are a traveling merchant. you go to your room to sleep and while doing so, you have a vision of jedi/sith/force sensitives going to temples on places like dantoonie, koriban, and corisaunt (sry on spelling). depending on which planet you start on, you can find a way to get to one ( you get to choose which one you go to) of the schools either by tagging along with a republic ship, work for the exchange, or find a shuttle that takes you to dantoonie or koriban (secretly of course). then you get to continue your training and be assigned to a master/lord which you and an other jedi/sith/ force sensitive and your master start off doing quests for the locals until you have the choice to kill your master, try to save his life, or listen to him and run away (the other person from the school tries to kill you both because he falls to the darkside or the lightside it you are a sith).
Kotor3
wat do u guyz think of some sort of big battle i find that pritty, it could be some sort of war ( im sure thers plenty of wars between Kotor2-and Starwars Episode 1 ) so the bigger the better

Maybe you could start off as a jedi/sith working for the republic or the remaining sith. at the start, you are on a ship that by talking to a crew member and answering some questions sets up which side your on. then from there you can either be heading to a fight, already in one, or running from one to find a planet.

I dont really care about characters aslong as the third game ties the first two together really well eg explains reven and the exile. and have some HUGE CLIMATIC POINT TO THE WHOLE TRILOGY!!! make it great, make you think "hey wow that was so brilliant i never would have guessed {KOTOR1 FACT} would turn out to be the key to saving {WHATEVER YOU NEED TO SAVE}" and have some big explanitotry scene at the end that just makes you sit there and gape and go WWWWOOOOOOWWWWW
PRAY TO GO THERE WONT BE A KOTOR 4 . anything after a trilogy sucks..

i like the idea of being a new person and starting off as a new jedi. the exile has gathered all force sensitives he can find, including bastila/carth to fight the sith threat [remember kreia saying revan would need help from jedi and sith?] and they are rebuilding the coruscant temple. during this, the sith that revan hunts come and attack the jedi temple killing everybody but you the exile, and bastila/carth. the sith begin attacking the other worlds as well. carth/bastila decide the only way to fight is to find revan, if he is still alive. and itd be pretty cool in your search if you met up with vandar and zhar. also if you teamed up with the mandolorians, or some sith who are not part of this group [remember the sith always fight each other?] which would bring peace to the galaxy
