I was wondering, is there any way to trade between 2 of your characters ? Or is it like Diablo, you got to own 2 legal copies of the game ? or is it possible also like in Diablo to open a game on the internet and let run for a while till is permed so you can drop things in it and fetch them back with another character ?
Spartans don't ask how many but where they are....
Personally, muling on multiplayer was one of my favorite things about DII. In Titan Quest you can transfer items between characters as long as you have two computers with the game installed on them. You DONT need 2 CD keys. Both characters can join multiplayer or LAN games using the same key. To the best of my knowledge, gamemaps end when the last character leaves (if you find out different, please report this).
I know that there is a mod in development that will allow you to exchange items between characters without joining a game. This will allow full-blown muling. I don't know how the program will function, but I will link to it when it is released.
In the meanwhile, I save my characters to a new file when their inventory fills up with goodies, so that I can access them once I can do it. My second comp is not up to specs for TQ.

Simple, you can install the same set of disks with the same CD key on 2 separate computers, right? However, you only need to insert the game CD in a given computer when you open the program and start the game. After that, you can remove the CD and continue to play without a problem. This is pretty common knowledge. Many DII players remove the game CD and put in a music CD of their liking instead, since the only noticable thing that happens in that case is that you lose some of the background music during gameplay.
