One whenever i start the game it says please exit game before trying to uninstall. why would it be saying that?
another well strange occurence was... In the original dungeon siege i remember monsters killing individual characters after they went unconscious and always having to resurrect them, however in ds2 the monsters completely ignore the character after they fall down and go after characters still standing so I never have to use resurrection scrolls. Even with that one multiheaded snake boss he knocked down 3 characters but they just laid there didn't die but they couldn't get back up cause his breath attacks kept them down but didn't kill them, was it supposed to kill them? Is that the way it is supposed happen? Only if all the party dies they get sent back to town and have to retrieve their bodies.
two small problems.

When a character is knocked down and keep being damaged, the red bar on the char's face increases...until he dies and a grave appears on the char's face...it's now that u need to use the resurrect scroll or spell on him/her.Red_Harvest wrote:So at what point do you ever have to use the resurrection scrolls or spells?
Against bosses ur mages will costantly die because of aoe (area of effect) attacks...the only way to avoid it i found is use the invicibility power of the nature mage that makes invicible ur whole team for about 5 seconds...enough to avoid powerful aoes.
hope this helps (i'm sorry for my bad english )

um that's not what I meant guys, I meant my characters never die no tombstone! Monsters knock them unconscious and then leave to go knock out the the ones still standing. They never actually die! so I never have to use resurrection scrolls or spells which is what bothers me is there something wrong with my copy of the game or something? Everything was fine when I played DS1.
There's nothing wrong. Monsters usually leave your party members alone after they knock them out. Some enemies however have powerfull AOE attacks which will damage your party members even when they are unconscious. You may also die if you receive a powerful hit on low health. You can only be happy and think that you are really good at this game if none of your characters have died.

So i suppose that resurrection scrolls/spells just aren't as useful as in DS1 then huh?High Five wrote:There's nothing wrong. I did fight that 3 headed snake though it knocked down 2 or 3 of my characters leaving only 2 remaining and it's breath did hurt them but it just kept them from getting back up but it never killed them?
