I have a serious question about spellcasters and please if you answer do it with clear explanations about it.
Intelligence adds elemental damage which applies on staff attack and you can see it (adding points in intelligence raises your average dmg with staff), but what about spells? (for example lightning bolt).Does it raise spell damage also and if yes where can you see it or understand it?
If you have put lightning bolt level 1 and you put the mouse cursor over the spell icon you see that it strikes for lets say 100 lightning damage. If you add intelligence points at that moment the 100 does not change.
So, does intelligence add damage to spells or not? The same thing is for +% elemental damage from items, the +% that you gain from the items does not show on the spell icon.
If anyone knows something about this please answer, it will help many people that have the same question.
Thank you very much.

i asked a similar question the other day (how can i tell how much dmg my spells are actually doing after +dmg etc.. and this was response from Frodo1
I havent' had the chance to use the mod yet, but you'll likely be able to see the increased dmg as you raise your intellegence. the fact that something like this isn't already included in the game is my one major complaint at the moment.Frodo1 wrote:I too have a problem with this. THe only way I know of finding out your actual damage is to download the following set of mods and install the one that allows you to see all the damage that you do, or that is done to you. It modifies the crit damage display to general damage. It only shows actual damage sustained and only works near the center of area maps (thought to be a TQ bug). It will give you a good idea how you are doing though. You can always go back to the first portal and see what damage you do to those level one crow thingies.
