I'm not saying you don't use blue. I didn't say you couldn't use blue. I'm just saying that a lot of people who say they play DS seem to be like Sith have to be always evil and always running around killing people, have to wear black, have tatoos and god forbit they have any other coloured lightsaber except Red.
I'm not saying that is everyone or that anyone thinks that way but it does seem to be the impression I get that a lot of people think of Sith.
In the KOTOR games so far Sith haven't been cunning. I mean in 1 they were everywhere and self-richeous because they had so many people. In 2 they were so few that when you saw them they were so clustered they were just silent and again over-hyped. I want to see silent, deadly and secret Sith that know they are Sith that hide and seek to subvert Jedi in their efforts. Not ones that you always know are Evil - Kreia - but just can't do anything about.
thinking about you're "idea of sith having red lightsabers" thing, i think it'd be awesome if there were sith/sith bosses that used a blue lightsaber, that way in case you're like me and like to recreate battles from the movies for the fun of it, you can re-enact Anakin vs. Obiwan. so i think itd be cool to choose the Sith Lord's saber color

well, first off, I'd like at least one not depressing ending. Even the light side ending of kotor 2 was depressing, even the light side ending. also, I'd like to be able to take on a padawan. not just show them the path, but actually teach them through conversation and action about the force throughout the game. I mean, the conversation style is perfect for it. I'd like to see the ability to influence return. I'd also like to choose defferent alien races, and not have to be human. Maybe have different unique abilities, depending on the race. I'd also like to see the environment be interactable. I wanna be able to force throw stuff at enemies. also i want to be able to attack certain parts of the body (i.e. head, arm, torso) and do more damage if you attack from behind.
also I'd like to see some of the following characters return:
Bao-dur (beleive it or not, i did kinda like him)
Atton
Handmaiden/Brianna
HK-47
Mandalore/Canderous
Visas
Mira
Zaalbar
Revan
Bastila
Jolee
overall, if they do it more or less like a combination of kotors 1 and 2. They'll be ok. A 1 ending with 2 gameplay.

The ending to KOTOR2 was a bit like the ending to Empire Strikes Back, though, i.e. a slightly miserable one. I actually prefered it that way - the Republic was in ****, after all.
Force throwing objects would be cool. You'd have to redesign the combat system - perhaps make it less turn-based, which was suggested earlier in this thread (I think - might have been another one). Something a bit more like X-Men Legends would work. Maybe.

Gameplay
Some ppl think the lightsabers shuld be more realistic.. they probly shud like comon 1 hit usually and atleast ther arm shud be like cut off, but that would make the game harder and easier in a way ,,
Easier, u can kill enemys alot faster
Harder, they can kill u just as easy and game over alot more.
1 thing they can do is change the gameplay , maybe like u gota use the mouse click at a certain time to block the other lightsabers/blasters/ and also click the rite time to attack so it would make it more realistic, i wouldnt mind the game like that

The Time it took to play Knights of the Old Republic
One of the good things about kotor was the length of the whole game (40+ hours). This is impressive but I’d like to see more in kotor 3, like in Lord of the Rings ware the books took so long to read it felt like the length of a war. I feel in kotor 3 this could work very well.

Customize
PS. thanks DesR85
I agree, this would make people more attached to the character you are playing if you could customize ever aspect of a character. This also is one of the things that makes a good RPG, e.g. customization, story, and the look and feel of the game.quiksylver wrote:i would like true lightsaber customization. Like being able to make the hilt and blade look unique.

Why not introduce more colours? Might sound a lot more logical to me. The idea of combining colour crystals is good but I can't imagine trying to do it by hand or crafting.quiksylver wrote:Another i would personally like to do is combine color crystals to make new blade colors. Like different shades of every color. More than just basic colors.
You're welcome.Revan12200 wrote: PS. thanks DesR85

gr8 stuff to put into k3
1.Reven and the Exile both as playable characters with all the powers, feats and items u had in your previous game but if the game is too easy that way have the powers and stuff u had at like level 19.
2.More dark jedi and sith there wasnt enought in KOTOR 2 as they had been almost wiped out so have more dark jedi and sith attacking you with good force powers.
3.More lightsaber upgrades, crystals and customisable hilts and blade lenghts.
4.Have better designed planets with more than one place to vist.
5.the Ebon Hawk has to come back
6.Some old chracters and new ones as the crew
e.g.Reven,Exile,HK47,T3-M4,Atton,Bastila,Mandalore and some new characters preferably jedi.
7.More light side offensive powers the light is just too lacking when it comes to fighting have a version of force lightning but for he light side.
8.Better and more Bosses the ones in KOTOR 2 were push overs Darth Nihilus was made out to be the all powerfull dark lord but was killed with two blaster bolts.
9.Better looking Jedi armour the galazy is at war the jedi are not going to be fighting in plain robes.
10.A lot better ending than KOTOR 2
With this and more Kotor 3 will be a gr8 game

The idea of people walking around in the city talking to people will make the game more lifelike was mentioned a while back at this thread. To add upon that idea, what about if the party members in the Ebon Hawk (or whatever aircraft that you'll be flying in) could like walk around the ship and sometimes converse with other members? Looks a lot better than just standing at one spot and doing nothing.

iagree....but it would could be hard to find some1,and you'll have to look around the hole ship (or mybe they are on a map or something...dunno)i think why bioware and obsidian did'nt do that in K1&2 is thet its easyer to find the npc if you wanna talk to them and to get there qoust(K1) or turn the to jedi(K2).....

Well, the party members could show up on the mini map in dots or something similar so that you know the whereabouts of your party members.

then it would be cool, and maybe to hear what they are talking about like in oblivion.DesR85 wrote:Well, the party members could show up on the mini map in dots or something similar so that you know the whereabouts of your party members.

That's a good idea. At least there is a living atmosphere whenever you enter the ship. Besides, it would be a nice touch to see members walking around and conversing with each other.Mandalorianx wrote:then it would be cool, and maybe to hear what they are talking about like in oblivion.
