Guardian, Great PvP CHAR

Post by Asteroth »

okey here it comes.. i have played TQ for a while now and played and tryed a few combos, but i have to tell you peaple that Guardian is great in pvp, pvm too.. this is why i think that way: TitanCalc v0.4 - Guardian - by stonedonkey

Heart of Oak: life booster, i have almost 1oK life
Shield Charge: stun your enemy.. they wont move.. ^^
Colossus Form: Add more dps, same there, almsot 10k dps

you find more info if you check out my calcs.

then the gear:
Trackers Hood
Achilles Spear
Shield Of The Korybantes
Afrodites Favor (amulet)
Achmage Clasp (bracers)
Achilles Armor
Athenas Battle greaves

Eye Of Hosaurus
Eye Of Hosaurus (Rings)

The amazing thing with this gear build, is that the recharge of all skills is 0% That meens that u can use all ur skills whenever u want without the recharge. Very nice when it comes to using the colossus form, and the Shieldcharge, The stun from the shield charge will be like.. 2 seconds, and u can use the skill again after 1 second, so the enemy can't move a bit cuz he's stunned all the time. (the only way is to go Legendary and just hope that the enemy doesn't use stun resistance :)

Nice build. I would suggest maxing out Plague and Fatigue and getting some points into suseptability. Since plague works by dropping enemy health by a fixed percentage, it is very useful in Legendary.

very nice build. i haven't pvp'd any yet, but i'd have to say more than 1 point in adrenaline is kind of a waste. it doesn't increase the chance that it procs. you could use those extra points to increase defensive reaction (which is the whole point of getting adrenaline). i'd also say 12/12 in rally is sort of a waste considering it doesn't increase duration of the benefits. plus you already have healing spells from nature mastery. that could free up some points for what Frodo suggested. and putting more than 24 into nature mastery is minorly pointless, since you not going for any of the skills that high on the tree. I'd also trade some points from Batter into pulverize (4, so your still at +10% dmg with batter) to add more disruption chances to your attacks. just my thoughts on it ;)

so it's look something like this my suggested spec

and oh yea, the tracker hood is amazing. and the set is insane too.

let me know how that works out for you. oh yea, i wonder if the 0% recharge on skills applies to Adrenaline too. if so, that's a few more points you could spend elsewhere. anyone know if -% recharge items affect Adrenaline too?

and if your just using that spear/sheild combo, then concussive blow isn't helping you any either since it only applies to club type weapons.
