I been trying him for 2 days now, and running outta money to buy health potions

I got about 80 fire resist, and i do fine i can take his fire area spell no prob, but when i get him close to half, its like he hits me 20 times in one hit, and instantly kills me, i thought it was a bug cause i would run to the bridge to kill adds, then go off bridge to do damage on him, over and over so thought maybe i was creating a bug, but i try it without using the bridge, and the same thing,

I even tried peirce resist, cause i thought maybe he peirced with his horns, someone help me =\
