Has anyone else experienced a video bug with the BW version? What has happened (three times now) is a sliver of video that is repeated across my screen in a diagonal fashion and locks up my computer - not even Cntl Alt Del works - I have to hit the power button .
Happened when I was in pause mode - happened when I was selling/buying from a vendor - happened when I was in the middle of a fight - so it's happens whenever and I don't have any warning.
Just bought this computer in March so I can't believe it's the machine even though it is an Emachine.
Anyone with keystrokes to get me out of the lock up, that would be great!
I encountered a bit of the same problem when I installed the newest version of video drivers for my ATI video card. So, I unistalled them and re-installed the older version catalyst (driver version 6.14) and the game also. Now it is correct, it gets stuck sometimes only into a heavy battle (especially when your party is cursed by their mages - I mean not completely but it's not so cursive as it should be).
PS: You should kill their mages first to have your image flawless (joking). Anyway, I noticed that, when I went for the head first (I am referring at original DS2) even if I stressed a lot my beloved Mordens in Darthrul and Desert of Kaderak ( ) the video progress was cursive.
