My best builds

Post by Shadowshire »

After playing the game with several different classes these are my worst and best experiences with both survivability and fun gameplay. This is of course in my opinion !!!. I would like to know which other experiences different players have had with their build and skills.

My most succesful build in pure melee are:

Corsair: Full two first lines in rogue and all sheild passives + Sheild charge and batter trees.

(Uses best skills of both weapon and sheild and combine them in the most devastating damage dealing way. I don't use poison since later the damage is to small and undeads are immune to bleeding/poison. Ok, to play and average survivability, but not to many interesting skills to chose from as blade skills and sheild skills mostly are passive)

My most succesful builds in melee/casters are:

Paladin: All sheild passives, Rally Tree, Battle Awareness Tree and Colossus and Storm nimbus Tree, Chain Lightning, 1 in wisp and full Eye of the storm

(Very fun with mixed caster/melee skills and gives great damage from sheilds and storm nimbus)

Champion: All Warfare skills except Battle Rage tree (Just 1 point for 50% offensive ability) and none in War horn. Full Heart of the oak tree.

(Fun character with just Heart of the oak for survival. Only 11 deaths from normal to end of legendary. Without it you can't make it through Epic. My best crossclass ever. But maybe most for pure tank minded)

Ranger: Bow and Spear combo. Tried Warden but got bored. This one really was fun to play. Heart of the oak + Circle of stone and full wolves tree. In hunter mastery i have: Wood Lore, Find cover, 1 in Take Down, Marksmanship full tree, Study prey full tree, Volley, 2 in Call for hunt and 1 in Exploit Weakness.

(Very fun and high viability. Switching from bow to spear in close encounters. Wolves as a booster to damage and Heart of the oak that gives you double hitpoints. The most fun to play i ever made.)

My most succesful Casters are:

Oracle: Ternion Attack tree, Dark Covenant tree, Lich King Tree, Outsider and Storm nimbus tree, 1 in wisp and full Eye of the storm.

(Best damage and survivability (Due to pet getting all attention) in the game but a bit boring and without much challenge. A trainer could do the same for all other classes, since Ternion attack is extremely overpowered and the pets are very strong)

My worst characters:

Juggernaut, Battlemage since they just can't stay alive...Anything with Earth even with the migthy Coredweller except nature is after my experience suicide in epic and legendary. Nature without offensive classes since they have no offensive skills at all.

Well my conjurer can survive relatively well, I use ternion (of course), the dweller at max except wildfire, max volativity, the lich (max lich and elemental bolts, 1 in shell and nova) death ward at lvl 5 and eruption for fun ^^ I just began legendary this morning and I have 27 deaths by now. I blame it on my reckless playing style rather than on the build :P
