When I got the expansion, I didn't import any of my characters. Using the Broken World expansion game, I created my a new character/hero. I went through the mercenary mode on the ORIGINAL Dungeon Siege II map and I completed it. After I completed it I went through the mercenary mode on the Broken World expansion map and I just completed that a little while ago. Here is where the problem comes in. Now that veteran mode is unlocked on the ORIGINAL Dungeon Siege II map because I beat Broken World mercenery mode, I can play Veteran mode. When I start the veteran mode, it shows in my journal that I have already completed everthing. It starts me out in the prison like it should, but with everything done already. In my journal it says something along the lines of:
"This quest has already been completed by someone else and cannot be completed in this session"
and I don't know why. All the quests (primary and secondary) that I completed in the original map on Mercenary mode all show X's on them too. So, I cannot go on any further in Veteran mode
I went through some of the map and the monsters are all there in Veteran skill, but I can't do any of the quests. Anyone have any ideas why this is? I have Myself (throwing ranger), Ressa (Blood Assassin), Finala (Combat mage-fire mage), and Tarr, as a healer/buffer/ice/grasping vine. I was wondering if maybe having Ressa in my group was a problem..I don't know
So, my question is, how can I play the veteran mode on the original map?
