The Best Build.
Hi there,
I'm fairly new to TQ -been playing for about ~2 weeks now. I find it strange noone mentioned Ranger in this thread. My roomate started playing before me, as a conjurer, and while the spirit/earth build is the bomb for farming or leveling, its really not that fast or interesting...
My ranger (currently 58) easily outdoes the dps of him and his pets. Olympus on legendary takes me about ~3mins. to clear from fountain to dead Typhon. Or I can just run past it all an train right to Typh but thats not much xp
I don't have the game runnin' at the moment so stats are approximate but self-buffed I do ~5050dps (call of hunt + refresh ftw) have around 6400 health, 160ish% move speed and insane hp regen. Basically everything dies in 1-2 shots with typhon going down in about 5 secs.
Might not be the "best" build but it deffinitely gets the job done.
Edit: guess I should clarify, I'm a full-time bow ranger, currently using bow of herakles/artemis'. Spears do hella more base dmg but the bow when you factor in scatter + puncture + volley is much more effective, imo.

i wanna say sorry for first , cuz i didn't read all of the comments here , so maybe someone wrote some about this char. I've made a Conjurer , it's now level 58 , and it builded for legend titan runs only , i think the build of the character is almost perfect for this , or maybe the best way. I'am using earth ench+ ternion + dark covenant on max + lichking on full, i have about 55% recharge so i can recast the dark covenant again , 5 seconds after it goes down , a titan run can be less than 2 minutes. Here is a link of the character + items , ofc i've used some other stuff on walktrough , but now i don't need any resistance or life , mosters don't have time to do anything , but if someone coming so fast , the vision of death can stop them. only archers can do some problem to me sometimes , but nothing else , i also can kill fire immunes , cause of the stuffs and the liche king , what is the best pet in this game so far. so here is my char:

I got the best build.
This is the best build, i worked during an hour for it, i hope ull like it!

Man don't be naive. +% elemental dmg is poor , +% intelligence items much better if ya enchant them with relics, i bet your dps don't reach 4k with this equipment , sory man but i won't agree in that , this is the best build.
U should use evertime + attack speed + intelligence items items with a ternion based character , that is the key for a char like this , and the 50+ % recharge for the dark covenant. Yea , that's ok .. u have good resistances , but what the hell it good for if ya kill everyone in a second? why it's good? The only resist what u need is pierce cuz archers's projectiles are fast to evade them easy way, but that isn't also necessarry , cuz u can own the archers with squall or wision of death. All of big bosses dies in 5 sec , hydra in legend is 10 , and all of them attacking the lichking or the outsider , so the only thing what u need is attack+intelligence+ some resist reduce from equipment , and a little skill to stay alive with a megakiller but not a safety character.

Hi there!
i wanna say something - there are many great builds (but not so much in this topic ) - there are many ppl copying or trying ternions and many others are asking for some non-sences or trying compare low lvl chars -> pointless, useless
i was playing around 1-2weeks, got some trouble with my version, so when i will come back, i will try new patches and we will see more - but i will really recommand u TitanCalc by stonedonkey - A Titan Quest Calculator (really great work) - u can find there all combinations/descriptions for classes and then u come back with something interesting:mischief:
last hint: normal difficulty is very easy with each char, so its useless talking about it too (like lvls 10-20)
for my conjurer and 1much more uber than him and ternions, looks there: http://www.gamebanshee.com/forums/titan-quest-102/any-storm-earth-build-not-cookie-cutter-79134.html
another interesting builds for me:
i can type my ideas for Thane/Brigand later too (need higher lvls for better tests)
- but for starting with Thane - u dont need many points in Masteries, so u can really fast boost (a lot of) your passives (Onslaught!!) and from Storm u will need only Storm Nimbus and Heart of Frost, later i will use Energy shield and maxed Reflection
- and for Brigand - nice Marksmanship and great poison/bleeding/piercing buffs from Rogue - only disadvantage is, that it will be like CS clicking/shooting action, until u will get Puncture shot arrows, Scatter shoot arrows and Volley maybe u can be awaiting trouble with undead and mechanical mobs - cuz they cant be hurt by poison and bleeding - but for pvp, it can be fun

im building a tenrioner now too, but i have to say one thing: damn that guy dies quickly!
maybe his attack is good, but i can hardly take 2 hits before finding myself at the rebirth fountain. Im level 17 oracle and i just killed the first telkine.
got the Tenrion tree maxed, 3 storm nimbus, 2 heart of frost (using a frost staff) and the other points i put into a Liche king (which is still really weak and dies ater 3/4 hits)
any tips on how to stay alive?

starting thinking, that TQ are playing only newbies and very young ppl - for those guys without fantasy and taste for trying/discovering - go and play Wolf: enemy teritory -> nice multiplayer action and your ranking/build is exactly generated for u by game
srry for all, u can call me arogant, but i wanna some confrontation etc., but hey, i found only ternions and loosers there
(except some rare departure from the rule)

If you got nothing else to tell then just to boast at how great you really are and how superior you are compared to the rest (while you too are a noob here on this forum, just like me), just dont bother to reply in the future. Thats what i call noobish behaviour.
Compared to my other builds (my best build is a pure nature summoner) i just find a ternioner very hard because he really cant take any damage at all, while a lot of people say a ternioner is so far superior to anything else, i fail to see that. My summoner didnt die once in the whole game, and I barged throu the monsters whithout any difficulty, even the "bosses" were killed within 20 seconds. Just the titan was a bit hard but with some great running skill and a nymfe picking him off, i menaged to bring him down.

come on, i wanna know more interesting builds maybe u were talking about pure Nature, but its not interesing for me... srry

I don't get what you are saying about oracles (ternions) dying fast. This character is the easiest build ever. Main problem is that it's just another cookiecutter that makes go through the game from normal to legendary without any challenge. Offcourse you have to get the entire ternion line maxed to get the insane speed of your weapon, and offcourse like all caster builds lots of resistance gear and -% recharge. The -% recharge goes for your best defensive/offensive spell in the game Squall. Immobilizes archers and gives great lightning damage. Keep it up all the time, and you will have the most overpowered build in the game. Throw in Lich King and/or outsider and your on God-mode.
My favorite build for fun and survivability is:
Champion, Conqurer and druid (after level 35).

MyBuild...lemme know what you think
I am going Soothsayer right now, or the Spirit/Nature route. I am hoping to be a summoner/almost melee. Only level 20 and looking for tips and/or pointers. Be gentle with me...noobishness here.
In spirit I have a point in:
Deathchill
Ravages of Time
Necrosis
For the aura effects while I try to melee.
I also have a point each in:
Life Drain
Cascade
With cascade it is a good opening shot for most creatures/mobs, health goes down from about 10% to 50% depending on the level/type of creature.
To finish of Spirit (so far)
6 or 7 points in Summon Lich King
1 point in Death Nova
1 point in Wraith Shell
Because it ain't no fun if my homies can't have none...
In Nature all I have is in the puppy skills.
8 or 9 (I think) in Call of the wild
1 point in Maul
1 point in Survival Instinct
Once again, the more the merrier.
Here is how I play, open up with the Life Drain, except them damn undeads, by this time my pets/homies/pahtnaz have closed with and engaged creatures. Run in behind them with the aura up and swing until everybody is dead, either us or them. As my Necrosis skill gives the creatures a -% vs bleed my puppies do decent, the Lich is pretty slick with the Death Nova if he gets mobbed.
As I am attempting to be a melee all my points are in strength and the gear I have, noobish gear, has exactly ZERO energy regen stats. I tried the Heart of the Oak, but as it sucks down mana over time I took it away as soon as I could. I know it would be a worthwhile skill, but until I get gear, the points go to the puppies or His Highness of the Undead. Besides, if we kill quick enough, we don't need extra health, and I need the mana to resummon my dead homies.
Here is what I am hoping to end up with, full on puppies, lich king, and my auras (deathchill, ravages of time, and Necrosis) which will help the puppies out, full on outsider (since it takes fewer points to max out vs nymph) and put the rest under the Heart of the Oak branch. Whatever in Heart of the Oak that would leave a point for each in the following skills.
Noobish questions:
Can I trade equipment with my other single player characters?
Are everyones puppies as psychotic as mine? Regardless of their health, or what creature they are fighting, they go Cujo on whatever the see, or think they see.
Thanks for any help/tips/info....

I've noticed that almost any combination of masteries can work well and that the game gets really easy once you get the right skills set up and some good equipment to compliment them. and theres plenty of loot along the way to gaurantee that you will get that equipment. So wheres the challange in exploring the diferent options if all of them end up working?
I know that there is a rebalance patch up and comming, and it looks like it is going to address this. I saw a lot of reduced this and that in the masteries, which might make for more of a challenge. As with patches, some stuff that worked in one version might not work in the next.
I do notice a lot of people using spirit/earth or spirit/storm combinations to great effect, but haven't seen much mention of storm/earth bieng used. I am wondering if storm nimbus and earth enchantment can be used simultaniously?
Excuse my lack of spellcheck, I don't have Word on this laptop yet.
