Spoiler Request: Staff of Khufu?

Hi. When exploring one of the tombs near Fayoum (sp?), I found an item called "Staff of Khufu". It is marked as a quest item, but I can´t find the corresponding quest giver.
Can anybody tell me who to give this thing?

That staff is given to Imhotep in Memphis. He also wants another item check thru your quest log it should be listed. Good luck.

No, that staff goes to the High Priest who is up by the Gate to Thebes, up the stairs in the middle of Memphis.

Frege is right you will get an item if i remember so give it to the priest on the steps

funny thing is, on normal mode, when I talked to that priest, he said he needed the staff from the tomb, or better yet the sarcophagus of that pharao. but when I opened it, I never got the staff, where can I find it??

Sometimes when an item drops it cannot been instantly seen..(propably a graphics bug) needs around 10 secs.Wwait a little or do portal and come back your radar shows quest droped items also ...
Either that or restart the game and go to the tomb again and open the sarcophagus once more

OK, I feel really stupid right now.

Turns out, I was in the wrong chamber. I 1st went to the left one, killed everything and then to the middle one.
There was that monster ya have to kill for the quest of the guy that is outside the pyramid, and there is a sarco***us there.

I guess I kinda figured that would be the one.

Then I realised, hey, there is a chamber to the right as well, let's check that out, and voila, huge sarco***us, opened it and whattayaknow, the staff. LOL

*EDIT* typical, the *** in sarcophagus is being blanked
