Hunter Second Mastery

Post by mariosgate13 »

Hello!
I am making an alternative character and i was wondering what is the best mastery to go along with a bow hunter..I was thinking Earth, Storm or Spirit.

Any Suggestions?

Thank You! ;)

I came to Titan's Quest from Ultima Online, so it was natural for me to go with Nature for all of the healing buffs. My most advanced character at this point is a level 18 Ranger (Hunter/Nature) and the two Wolves I have at this point are decent enough to tank most things. Bosses own them, but that is to be expected.

I was thinking of creating another hunter and going with either Storm or Earth for the increased offensive kick. My level 13 Conjuror (Earth/Spirit) routinely takes things out much faster than the hunter.

Are you just going to PVM or are you going to think about potential PVMulti? A hunter/nature combo would be great support in a multi-game. IMO.

To be honest, Defense or rogue might be better for that IMO, up to you though.

Defense would give you the health to survive while being beaten while firing your bow, Rogue would give you some really neat tricks to just pummel your enemies.
Listen up maggots, Mr. Popo's 'bout to teach you the pecking order.
It goes you, the dirt, the worms inside of the dirt, Popo's stool, Kami, then Popo.

I am a brigand (hunter/rogue) and i have gotten pretty lucky with the bows i have picked up:
-Tendon ripper
-Silent Flight
-Hykles bow (can't remember that ones name exactly)

It is easy for me to be a range char even though i have no pets all you need to do is max out wood lore and the markmanship line and have mana potions to sustain it, most mobs die with 1-2 arrows.

i think that rogue mastery could be a nice choice for a bow hunter beacuse of lethal strike which allows you to almost immediatly dispatch a bad guy from far away and the improved bleeding damage is great, if you use it that is hehe. hope that helps!

I wrote that a while ago but now I have a much better combo, hunting and spirit!! The lich king is maxed and always out, you call the big bad outsider in tough times and you snipe everything else yourself. Pretty interesting build, if you let the lich attack first he can make a wonderful tank, almost invincible. v1.20 even increased his death nova strength! The patch also brought back the archer in business by upgrading the marksmanship line. Have fun!
