not enough info. what .dll file?

dll= dynamic loading libraries -> from game files or directx. do you have latest directx? i hope you dont use cracks- some can break already broken world :p .

i also couldnt start broken world. i launched bw and from main menu clicking on single player did nothing. in my case it was mods in ds2 directories...

DLL More info

i have a problem as it goes in about 2-3 dots in the bottom left corner. then it comes up with the error message "FuBi: *Some silly message about not compatible* BGDHELP.DLL *Can Continue Operation*"

does this give you more info.

never heard about this dll. i had compatibility issues, if your game is loading up to this point its a late problem. what i mean late- last thing game checks is some saved game details and mods. compatibility issue sounds like ds2 save game or other files- mods and stuff is not compatibile with bw. try deleting all *.ds2res files beside original and use ds2bw allsaves program.

About BGDHELP.DLL and Windows 2000

In your (original) DS2 game installation folder there should be another folder called 'dev' - normally a complatible version of that *.dll can be found there, just copy it next to DungeonSiege2.exe.
In many cases the addon should start then.

If there isn't/doesn't, use any search engine to check the web for a free download of that *.dll, also search your Windows folder if there probaly is an old and incompatibe version of that file.
Totally modded.
