I am not asking for a crack. I am not asking for a key. I have a legitimate copy and do not need either of those things.
All I ask is for a file. I need data3.cab from disk 2. This is because I have been sold a bad copy of the game (a search of several TQ forums shows this is something that has happened to a lot of people: there were a lot of bad disk 2's, and a lot of bad disk 4's.)
If someone would please email me at kris_the_ta@yahoo.com with info as to where I might download data3.cab from disk 2, I would be forever grateful.
Just to be safe, I might like to get a copy of whatever's on disk 4 as well. (For all I know my disk 4 is bad as well. I don't know because I can only get as far as disk 2 when I try to install the game.)
Thank you for your consideration.

He says he has a bad disc, changing them wouldn't make a difference at all.
@Forelock-
I honestly don't think that's legal to do, BUT, if you find a CD ripping program (Roxio, Nero, MagicISO) then rip it all from the CD, you should be able to install the game from your PC. I had this happen with Oblivion and used a program to get it on my computer, now I can run oblivion with the DVD and install it straight from an ISO file on my PC.

He cannot if the warranty is already expired. Usually a software (if you don't buy insurance or anything) comes with a 2 to 5 day warranty where if it's broke, they just replace it. Insurance is RARE on games and software, at most it's got a 30 day warranty, which most come for software that you'll see on infomercials, the kind that go "If you don't like it, return it within 30 days for your money back guarenteed."

I bought the game online from a shop in Canada. (I'm in the US.) When I emailed them about it they said I'd have to pay shipping the return, both ways. This, plus the hassle, plus the three day deadline they gave me, made returning to them unpalatable.
I've tried contacting THQ about returning under warranty, but I can not get a hold of anyone. The instruction manual says I have to get them to give me an approval number for a return before I can return it, but they do not seem to be making it possible for people to get approval numbers. Attempts to contact them by phone and by email have not been successful.
I suspect they have realized they sent out a whole bunch of bad CDs and are trying to ignore the problem until it goes away.
