Is using a 2H weapon and a shield at the same time, a game bug? Because there's only one way to equip a char like that. First throw the 2h weapon and the shield on the ground, leaving the char's hands empty, select the car to use any magic spell then pick up the shield, then pick up the sword and the char now uses a 2h weapon with one hand, while inflicting THE SAME damage he would inflict holding the weapon with two hands. If its a game bug, than its a pretty darn advantageous one, if not CHEAT-like, cause it allows you to not only use skill points in good specialities like overbear and smite on your sword+shield melee character but also for your twohanded weapon melee character to use a shield with valuable attributes.
Also, i see that if you use a 2H axe, or a 2H hammer in combination with a shield, when you switch back to melee, it will appear as if your char is fighting bare handed. This doesn't happen with 2H swords.
