Hi everyone. I'm just wondering if there is any "proper" way to go about doing secondary quests that involve characters that you don't normally use. In my case, I use Lothar, Deru and Taar. Does it hurt you in any way to leave them at the inn and do someone else's quest? Do they fall behind in levels this way?
Is it advisable to only hire a character (that you don't normally use) when you are prepared to fully do his/her quest and then release him again?
I just want to make sure I don't allow my main characters to fall behind, so I was wondering if there's some special method you guys follow when doing this.
Thanks.
advice for character-specific secondary quests
When I played Dungeon Siege, I picked up quest characters just long enough to do their quests, and then I put them back in the inn. If you keep the quest character in your party for a long time, then the "main" character you replaced might fall behind the rest of your party, and, from what I've read here, getting them to catch back up can be difficult.
