only one instance of character?

Hi,

Two questions:

Does anyone know where I can pick up another combat mage, I only have Finala atm?

When I try to add a charcter like deru or lothar, it says that I can only have one instance of that character in my group at a time, but niether character are in my group. Are they refering to the class type (warrior, etc) or the actual character name? It seems like a bug?

It sounds like you played the game once and now you're playing at a higher difficulty level. For that case, companions in the inn still count as existing in your party, and so you won't be able to recruit the new versions of the characters. The only way to recruit the new versions is to dismiss the old versions, but the game doesn't support that very well, and you might not be able to do it. (You could try buying some pets so the companions you want to dismiss appear on the second page of the inn list. Sometimes that will allow you to dismiss them.)

When I got to the same point in the game, I kept my original party and started adding pets to it.
