Attack speed problem

Hello everyone

This is my first time doing this but i have a problem with my dual wielder. I am level 32 and have 2 Sabertooths and my attack speed is 171%. I just found a green pair of boots that add 18% attack speed. I put them on and my attack speed stays exactly the same. Is 171% attack the highest attack speed in normal or something? Does it improve my attack speed without showing it or is my guy or Titan quest messed up? Please can someone help me. Thanks.

I am on Patch 1.20

171% is surely not the max, I'm @ 186% at the moment.

you sure it isn't movement speed instead of attack speed??

I'm pretty sure its attack speed. i don't know why is dosen't show my guy's attack speed going up. I don't know if it has increased but dosen't show it or something.

171% is the speed cap when dual wielding. With a single weapon the cap is higher.

So my attack speed for the rest of the game will be 171%? Then is there any point in getting ardor because without onslaught on, I have 171% attack speed so i should not bother upgrading ardor?

(ardor increases attack and move speed while in onslaught)

I don't have any experience with ardor, but I doubt that it would let you exceed the attack speed cap. Unless you need the movement speed bonus, you could probably find better use for those points.

Ok cool. Thanks. That helps me a lot. Its kind of lame that the attack speed for dual wielders is 171%...
