Yea, but i meant it to be a joke........Mandalorianx wrote:well if not that, atleast get a upgraded Ebon Hawk....
ehhhh oki i agree a little with the tuning part, but whats with the ''Ship shows''.
well about the tuning part, it would be cool. why, to not have the same looking ship all the time... (but not with front/rear bomper and side skirt, like street cars and all)
but i think it will never be in a game like this. because it to mutch now at days. if you know what i mean....

The idea of having to buy ships, obtain one , or however you can find a ship, is a great idea. The ship you buy could have a different story, backround, interactions and dialogue throughout the game, and sidequests. That would solve alot of arguements. But i'm expecting nothing like that, i'm expecting the Hawk to return again. That is Also the reason i'm in strong favor of the Hawk, so when it returns i'm not disappointed.
I really like the idea of having to upgrade the ship. Guns, sensors, engine, armor plating, change the color a little bit (instead of rustic orange), etc...

I know some ppl dont want the hawk bak, but if u guyz remember in kotor 2
HK-47 finds that the thing wer it shows wer the ebon hawk has been has been locked by t3 because it shows wer revan went.. so wouldnt u want a new character to find the ebon hawk and somehow unlock and find revan?

Well another reason, but not the reason i went. It is a good way to find out where Revan went without him appearing in the game. Though there is little doubt in my mind that they are not going to leave Revan in this game.Leet wrote:I know some ppl dont want the hawk bak, but if u guyz remember in kotor 2

I hope so. I don't really like to play a game where a character was mentioned on many occasions but never make an appearance at all, especially one that is very important like Revan.marten0305 wrote:Well another reason, but not the reason i went. My thoughts exacty. They didn't actually leave Revan out in K2, he did make an appearance. With so many questions about Revan, that only Revan can know, left unsaid i'm confident that Revan will be making more then a short meaningless appearance (K2 on Korriban) on K3. I imagine he will be the leader in the war against the "True Sith", or he will be a big part of the war.DesR85 wrote:I hope so. Custom Crap
In Kotor III, I'm really hoping to see that your PC is totally customizable. I mean not just race and gender, but take how much you can customize a person in The Sims. You can customize everything on their body, and that's what I want to see in the next game.
Maybe also, some of the other planets we haven't gotten to tread on in other games out of the Star Wars Universe. Just some ideas.

Oops
I really should have been more specific. The race that I wanna see more than any is the Zabrak. I have a soft spot for them and I would really like to see them in the game. Anyways other races from like Jedi Academy would be good.
But I guess with custom crap I mean hair, eyes, face, bla bla whatever.

No offence but what does you playing DS have to do with your post?Darth Turik wrote:I usually play DS on both kotors and I'm tired of the ebon hawk so in the next installment I would like to be able to have a sith war ship (the Leviathan)if I play DS and if not i want a new ship anything but the ebon hawk.
And i partly agree with you. If they were to replace the Ebon Hawk, i would want it to be with a big ship like a republic assault ship, but not too big like republic attack cruiser (starwars.com/databank/starship is where i got these two ships from). But if they don't get a ship like these, i'd rather stick with the Hawk.
To be able to customize facial features is something that they should definitly put in the next game. To add a little to the idea, how about being able to customize body features (weight, height, size, bust , etc...) And to brig the tattoo idea back, the Zabrak (Bao-Dur, Darth Maul, a couple others) have tattoo's (look at wookipedia for a description of the Zabrak).
And all of you have a merry christmas

I don't think you should be given a larger ship. Ebon Hawk is perfect in size; I would be just as pleased with a smaller ship too. I agree with you that we need a new ship though; but how lonley wouldn't it feel on a big ship with just 8-10 crew members?marten0305 wrote:No offence but what does you playing DS have to do with your post?

1. More intresting characters, each with a sub-plot like in KOTOR1
2. More weapon custimization
3. No more dead planets (like Korroban in 2)
4. Instead of a choice of planets like in the past two, make it like an actual story line, like you have to go to a certain planet to continue the story, though you still can go to otrher planets instead, just not for the story.
5. Two different stories depending on whether Revan was light or dark (not exile because it's the same outcome anyway in K2)
6. Actually make you think about what to do next, not make it so easy to just choose light or dark, like make there consequences for doing the right thing and actually make the dark side seam easier.

Can't agree more. The player is, after all, in charge of a small party and not a whole battalion so piloting a large ship like a Star Destroyer wouldn't make much sense. Piloting a ship the size of the Millennium Falcon or the Ebon Hawk is much more logical and convenient for a party of this size.DarthZ wrote:I don't think you should be given a larger ship. [quote="marten0305"]No offence but what does you playing DS have to do with your post?
(i play DS in the games so i dont want the ebon hawk as my flagship.)
what I'm trying to say is if your'e the dark lord of the sith(kotor1) or a sith lord(kotor2) you should have a better ship than the EBON HAWK.
what i want is this: I know people say they dont want a large ship(leviathan) because you would only have 8-10 characters on the ship but what if you could recruit some soldiers like revan did and have them fly the ship and you could just tell them where to go and if your'e fighting another ship you could tell them what attacks to do.

If you had a really large ship like a star destroyer, it would have quite a large effect on the storyline and possible planets. You can park the Ebon Hawk in the middle of Nar Shaddaa, but the Leviathon? No more zippping around the galaxy inauspiciously...
Having said that, I kind of like some parts of the idea. A lot of people are talking about the customisable character - in a larger ship you could have your own quarters in the ship as like a "base point", where you could perhaps have your armour or lightsaber on display, arrange your trophies from across the galaxy for viewing, etc.
Not sure about the logisitics though - having a full crew of soliders would be one thing, but why would you only take three of them out with you at any one time (presuming it would be a similar sort of set up like that).

That's what this thread is all about, "things i WANT in K3". On the other hand you have a point, changing the gameplay too much is just like changing the game. Now i would like to be able to do, lets just call it... "the sims effect", customizing the facial features to my liking and not have a preset face.DarthZ wrote:Well, you guys are asking/demanding/wanting them to change the gameplay by adding more "The Sims" stuff and such alike.
Now a captains quarters is a great idea i think, as for trophies i don't really think they should make a trophy system, however maybe lightsabers and other items you get from defeating enemies (worthy enemies), completing hard missions, etc... These trophies you'd have to choose to keep them as trophies or use them as items. They would also have a discription of how you got them, who you got it from, etc...
