Sacrificial Amulet! OMG ppl!!!

Post by Yelled »

attached is a pic with the stats.
I guess it's only good for for some tank-like character (Defense based) with insane HP, cause -70% health is crazy!

although, can't see how someone might afford it since I consider my character more then wealthy - I buy **** without ever considering the costs most of the time (since I sell EVERYTHING I get).

anyway, it for lvl 38, and costs 14mill so I passed :D

anyone tried it yet? or something similar? does it let you "fly" you way through the levels? if you can stay alive that is...

From what I know, that amulet is rubbish. Unless your character has like 23 Health Regen per second and really insane amount of HP (or infinite number of potions), it is not worth to even use it (unless you're just plain grinding), needless to say to get it.

if you have the cash, it can be worth it

I have used sacraficial beads along with a ceremonial helm and they really help. You just have to be careful of when you use them. Remember this, on most of the quests you do not receive the experience until you return to whomever sent you. So for me I would go about my business of completing the objective and then "change clothes" just before I met the one that sent me. I then collect the bonus and change back.

Another time I use them is when I know that I have quick and easy kills. For example, the jade guards in the Chang'an palace after I kill the boss. They will sit for me to pluck them with my bow (which leeches life for damage, btw). And if they are moving then I portal out and when I return they are still.

Though my beads are not as extreme as those you showed I was able to cruise through the 30s and well into the 40s with my combination.
