I may agree here but the problem is that it will be too much of a hassel to come up with different languages for the different alien races in the game. The easiest route most developers will surely take is to create some random words and mix them up to make a spoken language just like what you noticed in the previous KOTORs.

Possibly story link from Kotor2

If the Exile was involved at all in Kotor3, then perhaps there would be some sort of memory transfer from your Kotor2 Files to Kotor3, so that in the exile sequences he/she would look just like the face you used for the Kotor2 game.
Maybe, even right down to the robes, lightsaber, and force alignment?

Yeah, this idea has been discussed quite a bit. Something like The Suffering, where it detects how your last game ended.

The problems I guess are, in no particular order a) if the company making the game changes, legal reasons and all that; b) I don't know about you, but I have several characters saved in K2 - which one does K3 pick? c) Remember that if K3 is made, it will be coming out quite along time (in gaming terms) after K2, so it's likely that the absolute minimum will be done that might disadvantage newcomers to the game (that's not to say the idea is incompatible with new users, of course).

i personally like that idea but i think that with all the changes that might be made to k3 like weapons, characteristics and even the battle interface it might not be possible. who dosent like a new character anyways ??

Voices!!

VOICES!!!

I want the Exile/Revan to have voices, like after you pick an option of what you say, the NPC/Crew member shouldn't immediately respond, you should have a selection of voices in the character creation screen.

I WANT MY GUY TO BE VOICED BY HAYDEN CHRISTIANS(a/e/i/o/u)N!!

Taris for one cannot come back..because it was blown up, Dantooine cant come back because it was destroyed, Jolee cannot come back, because if u went dark side in the first game u killed him.

what i would like to see:

Characters
Mandalore
Bastila
Carth
HK-47
T3M4
Revan
Exile

Planets
Tatooine
Yavin
Coruscant maybe
Korriban
Mannan
Telos
Alderan

Story
I think you should be a new character and ur journey will be to find hte exile adn Revan and bring them back adn ur choices in the game will determine if hte three of you Finish off the Republic for good or Save it from destruction

thats my thoughts
There seems to be a contradiction here. You say that Jolee Bindo can't come back because you kill him then say that they should include Carth? Little jump in logic in that one. Also just because it was wasted doesn't mean they can't bring it back. If you recall Dantooine AND Telos were supposed to be destroyed in KOTOR I yet they had them both in KOTOR II in quite survivable states. I think that means they can include just about any "destroyed" planet with an exception being Malachore V.

And a note to Roman: If and I stress If they touch on your old character it will be here is what happens not mind swapping or continuing from an old file. Biggest reason (aside from the fact KOTOR II was supposed to be finished all the old quests) is that having a go anywhere game is not KOTOR II. Also think about games like GTA yes they follow the same story but you don't go back and keep playing with the same world. Not unless they completely revamp it - which they should do but not what KOTOR III is going to be. Oh and the fact that if you don't play KOTOR on the computer trying to get a file from Xbox to X-360 is going to be tricky at best. And another being that if you deeply relied on Exile that it would alienate all new players to the series.

If they want to allow you to play as Revan or Exile have it as an unlockable option after the game is beaten. Have it as one of the reasons to finish the game. Also, I know I've suggested this before but I think that you should (at the beginning of KOTOR III) actually go through the Revan and Exile creation like you do to make your own character because I personally found that conversation both confusing and annoying.
Bao-Dur: I think he wanted us to give up the Genreal to his poorly trained collection of bounty hunters.

Atton: Ah. well that would explain it. Which one do you want?

Bao-Dur: I'll take the stupid one who decided to threaten us rather than shoot us when he had the chance.

Having Revan and The Exile return as playable characters in the 3 game would be great. In order for things to really work smoothly between all 3 games the new one would need to be able to read the saved game files from 1 and 2 in order in incorperate the look of Revan and The Exile from each game.

Wouldn't that make the game a bit... easy?

I agree with Tovec, if they do it, it should be an unlockable feature. However, as I've said before, to read old game saves would depend hugely on which company was making the game.

At the risk of sounding obvious - I doubt the game will aim for anything more than 30-40. Games are getting shorter across the industry.

150 would be nice though!

150 hours? Please, be reasonable. Nobody would like to get stuck on the same game for that long. 60 hours is considered a lot for an RPG but 150 hours will definitely be overkill, logically speaking. Not to mention how time consuming it is to play any RPG for that matter. Besides, won't it get frustrating and tiresome to play the same game for that long?

The only game that takes this long to complete is Morrowind and Oblivion or any other open-world sort of games. If it's a game that isn't open-world, it wouldn't make much sense to have that many hours. In reality, all games have to end at some point but I don't want to wait that long to end the game.
