As the title says that door won't open. I was playing a multiplayer game and went to the Jade Emperor. Then another guy came and said "come on wusao tp". We went and killed typhon, but now I can't go through the north chang an door. I have tried talking to the jade emperor again but he is grey now. The gate does not open. I can't find multiplayer game to get the wusao waypoint. Anyone know some trick to trigger the gate quest status to unlock???

You have to go to the Yellow Emporer as per the main quest. Check the walkthrough for specific locations, but after you defeat the terracotta statues, you can't just move forward. You gotta do some other things first. I just went through this area, and basically what it is is you climb a mountain, beat the crap out of a Bull, talk to the emporer, and then you can go towards Wusao.
Also, please add a spoiler tag to in game specifics. You've been here quite a while, you should know this by now especially since you frequently post in this forum. I'll add it this time, but please do so initially in the future.

Anyhow thanks for your suggestion, but for some reason it doesn't work. I think its because the Jade Empereror plot is a Main Quest activity and Typhon is also. So the main quest log book is tied up 'thinking' hey Typhon is dead and it doesn't activate the function 'unlock chang an gate'.
In other words I talked to the Jade emperor and still get the same no quest message at the gate.
Anyhow thanks and sorry on the spoiler tag...

If you're at Chang'An then typhon is not dead. Typhon isn't even near you right now, it's in a whole new act.
The Jade Emporer is NOT the Yellow Emporer. The Yellow Emporer is up in mountains wheras the Jade Emporer is in the city.

through the Forest of the Ancients into the Wusao Caverns, Down into the Obsidian hall to beat the 3rd Telkine and then finally through a portal to Mount Olympus. Once you get to mount olympus is when you even consider fighting typhon. Otherwise just worry about the Jade Palace and the Bull Demon.

Oh I thought they were the same. I went to the mountains killed the bull and then went in the house where there was a wisened sage. He had a back route down his staircase leading home to Chang An. He told me about Typhon and what I had to do.
The Yellow Emperor is in Chang An??? Is that who I need to talk to??? I talked to the agent from the prometheus order and two army guys who were worried about the clay soldiers. Then I went in some masoleum of clay soldiers with a sorceress and a guy gave me attribute points as a reward. I am guessing that is one of the emperors but NOT the one I need...

I simply portaled into mt. wusao (didn't get waypoint) and the guy I was with essentially pounded typhon for me. My fault for getting duped into a imbalanced multiplayer session.

K, for the third time, the Yellow Emporer is the one up in the mountains. You've talked to him, so if that's completed, then I have one other suggestion.
There's a side quest in the game that involves getting rid of all the terracotta soldiers within the city. There's like 4 places with doors that lead into an area full of the green statues.
When you kill those statues, the guards walk in. Even if this is a side quest, it might, MIGHT help. Otherwise, if you're doing multiplayer questing in a single player game now, it might have gotten bugged which would mean you'd need to start over.
Though, lemme check one thing.

Just posting so if you were wondering it will appear on your new posts button. In other words I screwed up and did an edit of my previous post rather than replying (see my post above). Didn't count on the inoccuous nature of 'only' doing an edit...
But take your time on looking at the file. I made a fortune elsewhere by focusing on traps (I'm an illusionist) in legendary. Strangely It wasn't a strong enough strategy in epic hades. I think the monsters there are more dangerous whereas greece you have hordes of dumb sheep who want 24000 bolt traps pumped into them

No, you can hyperlink if you want, that's not against the rules. It's advertising that's against the rules.

have you ever played a trapper Its a very strong character. Full traps.
Here's what you do:
Move in a line laying traps. Always overlap the firing range of one trap with the next so they defend eachother. When a monster comes put a trap in a triangle also overlapped. Watch the traps grind them. As the monster destroy a trap lay another in an imaginary triangle across from them always retreating.
Works like a charm. I can farm legendary greece very easily.
I don't have lethal strike high because I don't have enough -recharge to spam it. I just need it on casters and 1,1 is enough. Traps cut down bosses with less risk. Also I have 1,6 knives and 1,8,1,8 poison tree pretty standard except for its odd to take a point in toxin distillation. Finally 12,1,6 heart of oak and 16,1,1,1 wolves. Its good to have 3 meatshield wolves when trapping and strength of the pack buffs the traps speed by 15%.
So I don't know why you say its weak. I have modified it as an experiment that I am testing now.
