I had a character on a laptop w/ XP and the hard-drive crashed. A professional service recovered my data and put it on a mass storage device. I installed DSII on my new laptop w/ Vista. Then I copied my old DSII files to my new laptop. I can see my old DSII files; dev, maps, resourses, system file folders; along with a bunch of application, text and icon files. And a SEM and a GAS file. I tought that I successfully downloaded the old files, but when I open DSII on my new laptop my old character isn't there. Does anyone know how to import characters from stored files?
