I'm not sure about this at all. In K1 you start out as a random person assigned to a battleship who has no memory - nobody treats you any different until later. In K2, its possible to play as quite an understated character who just wants to stay out the way of things. Why can't we start out as a normal person? Because surely there has to be some reason why a "normal" person can work there way up to being an uber-jedi/sith, else everybody would be doing it.darth humac wrote: Think about it. Both times you start out as an important character. The first time you start out as REVAN the previous DARK LORD OF THE SITH. And the second time you start out as the exile who has the potential to KILL THE FORCE. Pretty big begginings if you ask me. Why cant we start out as a normal person who works their way up to the most important role.
Though I do agree with DarthZ that the pre-jedi parts of the game are often the most fun.
