How good is Dream?

Post by stormlance »

hi.. i'm using earth/spirit character and just installed the Titan Quest IM..
i'm kinda  wondering how good is this new mastery called dream.. i myself like to play with characters that able to summon so the thing that wonders me most is how good the nightmare?
btw if i want to try this dream mastery with my old character, how can i temporarily removed (edit) my 2nd mastery and change it with dream mastery..

TQ Defiler can change masteries and stuff.

As for Dream itself, most everything is good about it. A couple of skills such as Trance of Convalescence (Health and Energy Regeneration) and the Distortion Field (5% chance of activating a weak aura) are kind of useless, and nightmare is completely not worth it, BUT everything else aside from those three skills are really well done.

Phantom Strike and Psionic Touch for warriors, Distort Reality and Sands of Sleep for mages, a lot of cool things about it.

Maybe the next patch or so will fix a lot of the problems with Dream, but it's not bad at all as it is.
Listen up maggots, Mr. Popo's 'bout to teach you the pecking order.
It goes you, the dirt, the worms inside of the dirt, Popo's stool, Kami, then Popo.

i see.. i will try the earth-dream combination later, it's kinda interesting to see how things will work out :) .. after i take a better look on the dream mastery, i feel if this mastery combined with the warfare would actually be very good just like you've said.. gotta try it to sometime.. any input on how to develop nice harbinger and evoker, especially on the allocation of skill points?

No ideas for the evoker build but here's my build for an harbinger:TitanCalc by stonedonkey - A Titan Quest Calculator - Harbinger I didn't put any points in a specific trance because you can use the one you like the most (trance of wrath for a warrior isn't all that wonderful actually :p ) hope this helps.
