How to calculate offensive magic skill's damage?(Like lighting bolt, frame orb)

Because TQ does not show the skill's modified damage .It puzzle me much.

I heard that intelligence,+ xx% element damage,+xx% cold/fire/electric damage can improve the damage.

Actually, you can calculate the damage.

Go to where your intelligence is, and just move your mouse over the word intelligence, and it'll pop up something similar to Intelligence- 100 50 and the second number would be in blue.

Well, the second number in blue is the percentage. So if you have a 134 in blue in intelligence, that's +134% damage with several spells and skills.

For example, a single 12 level volcanic orb and nothing else does 55 damage and 91-128 fire damage (Average 109.5).

Now, assume that your intelligence has the number 60 in blue, making it 60%. This means that the volcanic orb now does 55 damage and 145.6 - 204.8 fire damage (average of 175.2 fire damage).

Once you know the numbers from the spell and the blue number in intelligence, it's a simple math problem from then on.

Also, please don't double post. There's an edit button there for a reason.

And does the blue number in str means the percentage that melee weapon's damage will be improved?

More than likely, but if not then it's at least the straight number of the damage improved, that's for sure.
