help please!!..about "terrain.dsres"

i cant install DS:LoA....
at the 2nd disk theres an error about "Terrain.dsres"
i tried to select ignore..
but when i select to play DS:LoA the error always occured and theres a exception error about that "Terrain.dsres"....

what am i supposed to do with it?
do i have to download a map patch??

To me it sounds like your CD might be damaged or corrupt. Are you installing from an official copy?

You could try a patch, or you could try to getting the "Terrain.dsres" from someone that has legends of aranna installed. I can't send you mine as it's 391 MB's. The default directory for it is: C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Dungeon Siege\Resources

These ideas don't guarantee any success though. Good luck!

The Terrain file is almost 400 MB big. That is way too large for anybody to send via email, not even taking into consideration the EULA that comes with the game forbids that type of thing. Any place that would offer a download of those files would be doing so illegally, so I don't think it would be safe to trust in them.

Have you thought about returning the game and getting another copy of it? I tend to agree with the idea that the cd got corrupted, so the store it was purchased at should offer a replacement. Well, good luck, I hope you can get a new copy of the game.
