If the Baldur's Gate series can accomplish this, I don't see how it's impossible for the KOTOR series to do so. It doesn't need to be Revan all the way. It can also be possible to play from another perspective as well. HALO 2 and a few other games managed to pull this off pretty well.

maybe parts of kotor 3 can be played by other characters such as a segment for revan or hk-47 but this story needs to finish with a new 3rd character

that would be a good idea it'd kinda be like Kotor II where you go one place but other party members go to another I like it :D

ya way off topic so to close my point revan should not be a playable character because hed be too strong and there would be no progression, unless ofcourse kotor 3 follows the path of revan, and u are revan after he left the republic which would be a cool idea

That wouldn't be a bad idea, provided that it is at the beginning. Might flesh out the whole story as to what Revan's been up to prior to the events of KOTOR 2.

I have sayed this so many times and gonna say it one more time: include a program that loads your char from kotor1 to the kotor3!!! Either make it so that he is over powered level 1 char or have a high level cap!!!!

As far as i understand about the saves in kotors they have separate files for the chars...... :D
YOU DONT KNOW THE POWER OF THE DRUNKSIDE ill beat you up with my bottl ...lightsaber!!!And Drunk Side is a bar in KOTOR1... check these out! http://www.xfire.com/screenshots/drunkside/

This would depend on who was designing the game, mainly. There's licencing and programming issues.

When I last checked, on the Xbox you just have the game save files.

I'm sure it could be done, but I'm still not keen on the idea. As I've said before, if you start a game off with a really overpowered character, then what sort of enemies are you facing that are going to be any challenge?

In short, I don't want KOTOR 3 to just be an add-on for K1.

y dont you just create a new charachter or make it t the same designs to your kotor I 1? why make it so complicated? and also, include it in the dialouge choices also! so ifyou start as reven, just you talk to someone or whatever and you would reply and give an update story to what has happened! It could work if you and the exile joined togther and had to talk with each other to piece together What is coming!

ye, thats a great idea!!!! if you dont have kotors 1 and 2 and you want to be revan or exile, you could just say so to someone in the beginning, and it would affect the rest of the game(partymembers, planets etc....)!!!!!

(sorry if i misunderstood, but that is a great idea ;) )

:D :D :D :D :D :D :D

Why do you watch 6 movies of Star Wars with the same character? Cause he is interesting!!!!

revan,carth and bastila

i think tht you should mayb run into carth and bastila and then go off to find reven and the guy u use in k2(did they ever say his real name) but yea but i think the ebon hawk needs to b retired or upgraded and more realistic jedi fights ive seen maybe 1 game with good of this it dosent take 20 times gettin hit wit a lightsaber to die make it a bit ov a challenge but i cant wate till it comes out k3 will b amazing i love the storys they put in it but i think they need to bring back thiose 3 but not as main parts of the story and reveal abit of hte story to and stay with the mandalorians i love them there awsome and if you could actually b come one insted ov a jedi would b kool let us make the decisions we want to make on wat we want to b a jedi of a warrior of something like tht

Well i think part 3 should start as you being a young padawan in the middle of a war

i want more war parts in the game when there just battle between a lot of people and not just u and your companions

you should be able to go around if your own created parth of 6 people that would be excellent too

but again it is your choice whether to do so or not

but deffinetely more war scenes with battle

the most i want linkin the is game to any of the other games is maybe you are the exiles son which would explain atris s hate for the exile and her jealousy

or you could be Atton in part 3 because his conection with the force i failed to uncover properly

mayb i should just play KOTOR 2 again but take my time lol

i would really like 2 play as revan again but if not the should set kotor 3 13 years after kotor 2 and u unknowingly play as the son/daughter of revan.

this could work if revan got bastilla pregnant b4 he left that would b 5 years b4 kotor 2 began and if kotor 3 began 13 years after kotor 2 the, that would make the character 18 years old and a potential POWER in the kotor series with the genes of revan and bastilla!

what do u think?

Revan is a huge character in this game series. It would be suicide for a developer not to include him somehow. I hate the idea of having him as you again, but as a master to train you in the force(not evil like Kreia, but a party member) would be nice. also have him reveal his identity after a certain point in the game would be nice too.

To be brutally honest here, I would prefer if the story in KOTOR 3 focus on the main character instead of another character. Take a look at KOTOR 2 as an example. The whole story seem to revolve around Kreia up till the point that she should be the main character instead of the Exile (thanks to her pulling the strings during the whole story).

I mean, come on, I have never come across a game that revolves around another character instead of the main character. It just makes you wonder why bother playing as the main character if the other person seem to be getting all the attention.

Revan's attractiveness

You know why Revan is so well liked? because he, and yes Revan was supposed to be a man, was a Dark Lord of the Sith. Now if you could become a Dark Lord of the Sith or a Jedi Master, his appeal would be less than it is now. If I could become Darth Rob That would be sweet, and I would give 2 ****s about Revan. If I could have dark padawans or padawans, I would love KOTOR 3 so much I would play it over and over and over again. Besides, It would make pretty much perfect sense if you started off bad because KOTOR 2 left about 3 jedi left.

If you want to discuss, message me.
KOTOR III will be coming out in 2008 on 360!! I saw it posted on a magazine!!

having "about 3 jedi left" would depend on whether or not you trained party members to be "Jedi". and as to your theory about Revan, it's a good theory, possibly true for many people, but for me, i'd say it's the fact that he was one of the most powerful Sith Lords of that general timeline, which is what a Sith Lord is mostly about. that and how Revan walked the path of the Jedi, even after having been a powerful Sith Lord, mind wipe or not.
