multiplayer and single player
multiplayer and single player
Wanted to ask, I used my single player character to start playing online over the internet, but the progress I make in multiplayer doesn't transfer to back into single player. Is the game just like that, or is there some way so that my characters progress in single and multi player can be directly linked to each other.

afaik, the MP save files can not be re-converted back to SP saves. Not sure why as they are both stored on your PC (unless you're playing on the vaulted MP section, then that character is stored elsewhere)
But in any event, I play on the LAN MP for my MP character when I just want to play her alone. You can save the session and have your own world where you play that character, and advance in all the quests. You'll have to start at the beginning, but can save from here on out.

EDIT:: While some may not care, be advised that the cheat codes do not work in MP. If they do, they are ones I haven't found. Prolly cause I'm not looking lol
