Multiplayer party member help??

Post by HelLaChiC »

I have a question that I havnt been able to find an answer or solution to. In multiplayer, is there a way to give a party member saved in the inn to another person playing. My husband has collected all of the characters, except for taar who I have, and he has them in his inn. He was under the assumption we shared an inn, and I was under the assumption that there were more. He just picked up the princess and I believe she is that last one. Now I am stuck with my main, tarr, and a dire wold but would prefer another char. Please help

Hiya HelLaChiC,

Hopefully your husband is Hosting your MP games on his PC. If he is, then the MP game is saved on his HD (The world, not the characters). Simply host your own MP game on your PC (your husband doesn't need to be along) and work through that game (which will now be saved on your PC) until you collect all the NPC's you wish to have. The INN and the STORAGE CHEST are not really saved in the world. They are saved as part of your character.

NOTE:: I've never seen two instances of the same NPC in one world at the same time, so am unsure of conflicts with quests and such. From the way things appear to run in how quests are handled, I don't ~think~ there will be a problem, but you may want to wait for more knowledgeable persons answer here before trying my advice.

Thanks

Thank you jessy, I tried it and got it to work. I only played through enough to get Deru, but she transferred to our MP game and even leveled up to my level. Thanks again!

Note: when he tried to take Daru out of his inn it caused some sort of evil twin complex and caused issues with his game, but when he put her back things got back to normal.
