weapon effects
Do weapons in this game have visual effects, i.e. flames leaping from fire damage weapons or poison dripping from poison damage weapons while you are standing idle not when you hitting someone?
I haven't played in awhile so I can't confirm or deny if there are flaming or poison dripping weapons.
I do recall a bow that is coursing with electrical energy. And the rogue skill that poisons your weapon makes a green nimbus near the weapon.
I drew a watercolor pencil drawing of my illusionist (rogue/nature) and he has a mechanical trap shooting spikes, a dripping venom dagger, and a wolf that is glowing green from heart of oak aura. Your post made me think of it.
I thought the game was pretty appealing visually but in almost every game there is room for improvement. Try going to titanquest.net and watching some videos (on the home page) of the graphics. The video screen is smaller than the actual screen of your computer but you can get an idea of how the various skills look visually and perhaps see some cool weapons?

Right Speech has four aspects: 1. Not lying, but speaking the truth, 2. Avoiding rude and coarse words, but using gentle speech beneficial to the listener, 3. Not slandering, but promoting friendliness and unity, 4. Avoiding frivolous speech, but saying only what is appropriate and beneficial.
In answer to both of you....yes they do! and the visual effects on the weapons are definately a great thing and a bonus to this game.

Fiery red weapons
Weapons dripping cold and some charged with electricity
Some have glowing eyes on the weapon
Some are blurred so that they look like they are in shadow
The list goes on....
A lot of Legendary weapons (and epic ones) look very very cool!

I've seen things you people wouldn't believe. Attack ships on fire off the shoulder of Orion. I watched C-beams glitter in the dark near the Tannhauser gate. All those moments will be lost in time, like tears in rain. Time to die.
