What Do You Want in KotOR III?

It will be about him fighting an organic species in the lonely corners of space. The unique thing about this species is that they are completely organic and immune to the force. But supposedly everything from their buildings to space ships are grown from and organic tissue. they have a specific name, but i can remember it right now.

To me that sounds an awful lot like the Yuuzhan Vong ( check the wookieepedia page Yuuzhan Vong - Wookieepedia, the Star Wars Wiki) as they were not touched by the force and believed that mechanical technology was wrong. How reliable is your source burning ice? because i was under the impression that the Yuuzhan Vong wern't a threat until the New Republic came about although perhaps they were around during the time of the Old Republic.

Although there could be some basis to this as i was just reading through the wookieepedia page and if any of you can remember Canderous mentioning an incredibly fast ship that was disguised as an asteroid in KotOR I, according to the page it was a Yuuzhan Vong ship. But i'm not sure if they would fit in with the idea of Revan having to fight the " True Sith" as their whole species are cut off from the force.

As was I, I'm quite glad i decided to read through that page and that i saw that. It makes u think that perhaps burning ice is right and that the developers purposefully added that in to to show that the Yuuzhan Vong are around at this time in the universe.

Also i suppose by putting that in there it gave them the possibility of expanding on an important race in the Star Wars galaxy that not many people know a lot about ( unless u read the books etc).

as long as the race of beings at the end of the game isn't storm beasts or rakatan, i'm happy *mental image of fighting thousands of Yodas and Vandars, maybe a couple rodians *

That would be sweet, especially fighting Dark Side force users of Yoda and Vandar's race and i'd love to fight a Sith Wookiee especially seeing as to my knowledge there hasn't been any dark side wookiee jedi and imagine how powerful they would be But i doubt that would happen because George Lucas has said that there can't be any more force using Wookiee's and they would have include Kashyyyk in the game as i don't think the Wookiees had mastered independent space travel at this point either

Yeh they can, as all races are touched by the force and therefore anyone with a strong enough connection or anyone who is sensitive to it can use it. The only notable one i can think of is Tyvokka who was on the Jedi council and took Plo Koon on as a padawan. well i knew that all beings are touched to some degree by the force "though for most people it is barely a measureable whisper". i was just unaware that there had been any wookiees with a strong enough connection to the force. shows you what i know about SW history lol. i know little beyond the movies and the KotOR games lol.

The Solo children had a wookie friend who could use the Force, I believe.

But back on the track that this thread was meant for...

if there was an enemy of yoda's species, that would create more fight moves, as they are a tad bit shorter than your average human. :laugh: but ya, it would create a new fight sequence for that species. I modded my KOTOR II so I could have vandar as my pc, (I was trying to make yoda ) but he wouldn't fight right, it was incredibly frustrating.

that'd be awesome to have the Yoda species as a PC. but yeah, having malfunctioning fight styles is frustrating. i have a mod for Darth Nihilus robes for K2. regular attacks don't work, but Flurry, Power, and Critical attacks do. kinda frustrating. so having a PC in K3 as a non-human (or human, if you want) would be pretty awesome

I have many things I wish to see in KOTOR3. So I have a big list!!

1.Pick your own race, besides human. There are other creatures in the KOTOR world.
2.Pick your own class,i.e. soldier, scout, scoundrel, and maybe some new ones, possibly pilot?
3.Story begins as a child!
4.Make it able to join Jedi faction or Sith faction.( I hated how in the end of every KOTOR you always ended up killing a Sith person, or dark sider).
5.Make the path to the light or dark side longer, add maybe more classes.
6.When it says you are a sith lord in the classes, make it so when you see a sith student they greet you like " hello master" or something like that.
7.Add new robes with hoods. A million people want this!
8.Add masks and cool looking head gear. Everything in KOTOR 1 and 2 look so gay, I never wore anything.
9.New Force powers, of course, like force avalanche?
10.Can act more with the environment, like say a dark jedi is in your path, you could a) sneak by him b) confront him directly or c) force push a tree on him stuff like that.
11.When you begin as a child, you can make friends that follow you when you grow up.
12.make it so not everyone can become jedi like in kotor2. That is what i disliked most in KOTOR 2. It made your character less exciting. it was like why should I be my character, when Visas or Kreia can do the same thing if not better.

many of your ideas have been said already, but still are awesome, especially the idea of hoods on robes. a minor detail, even apart from teh droids, not everyone in K2 could become a "Jedi" *referring to Hanharr and Mandalore*. also, i can't say i saw much of a love story in K2. not as a male, anyway. the only 2 characters that i'd want to be in a relationship with would be Mira or Handmaiden. Mira doesn't really want to be in a relationship with the Exile (coward...), and Handmaiden doesn't really proclaim any love for him. so in K3, i'm thinking bring back the relationship thing, and more than 1 option.

Another thing I'd like to see brought back was when the characters in your party started talking while you where on whatever planet. I know some people might have found that annoying, but you got to learn a little more about the character and at the same time it gave the game a realistic feel.

agreed, mostly. i kinda liked teh arguing. it was more realistic. the only fights between crew members from K1 i remember (assuming they were in the party with Revan) were Mission and Carth, Bastila and Carth (kinda), Bastila and Canderous, and Mission and Zaalbar (again, kinda)

Another thing from the long list of stuff I'd like to see in the next sequel is different lightsaber grips (or whatever they're called). I hated how every jedi walked around with the same plain silver grip. I want one that looks like the ones in the movies. Maybe they could even throw in a feature to customize them, but I doubt that.

If it is a MMO, then here is some ideas

-There is millions of interactable people, and you can talk to anyone and recruit them if you get enough influence with the person(so that everyone can have party members). a maximum number of members tough of course.

-It's during the Mandalorian Wars, Jedi Civil War and one that will be with the True Sith, and you can decide who you want to join up with in all of them(your party is a squadron)or you can stay away from the conflicts.

-custom ships. start with a bad shuttle, then buy one with enough credits.

- as many planets possible of course

I don't think mass multi player would be good because the game would take forever to load and not only tat but it would go by so slow it would not be worth playing. not only that but if it were MM only then it wouldnt be worth getting, because some people dont have xbox live.

another thing i was thinking about was maybe it could be a three disc set. The first disc starts you off as a kid, you make decisions as you want during your childhood and young adulthood. The last decision you make determines which disc you go to next, either a dark side disc or a light side disc. something like that would make everything easier to have and less load time, it would be like a FF game, but with a KOTOR scenario.

I think an MMO would be a bad idea too, if it should be anything like it, they should make a incredibly open game live Oblivion, just KOTOR world, third game story

No Kotor 3 should not be mass multiplayer, because then the story would suck so bad, it would be so hard to take everything from the last 2 kotors and put it into kotor 3 while being a mm.
