I don't think it will come out on PC for a while. I've seen info on an Xbox 360 version many times, but not a thing on PC version, except people asking "will there be a pc version?" I'm disappointed as well. Anyone, please tell me I'm wrong, I don't want to buy a 360.
Hokey religions and ancient weapons are no match for a good blaster at your side, kid.

well zander, you may be right, but i hope you're wrong. i don't want to buy a 360 for only like 2 or 3 games. anyways, there are a lot of games that go out onto the PC that are mostly intended for gaming platforms. and wouldn't it make very little sense to have the first 2 games available for PC but the 3rd one isn't? maybe only i think that way, but whatever. the point remains that it had better be available on PC for those who dont want to buy a 360 for only a couple games.

What about a Prequel?
Personally I think that the first KOTOR was much more interesting (in terms of plot and storyline) then the 2nd, however i believe the features in the 2nd were much better then the first so judging all that i believe that my KOTOR 3 would be a prequel think of how much fun it would be to play through the mandolarion wars the game ould open with you beginning your jedi training as Revan, be sent on various missions by the council and they see first hand the ravages of war while on a mission then strike up an army to go to war against the mandolarions despite the councils wishes the plot there could be endlessly entertaining. I see only a couple flaws with this idea, The player would be Revan therefore almost entirely uncostumizable except perhaps the choice of sex lightsaber type unless we could say Revan did not wear his/her mask till he truly became lord of the sith also there is the other problem the end is pretty much set. Maybe go with a prequel for the exile? i would love to play as revan again and fight the mandolarion wars also train to be a jedi by going on missions

y cant KOTOR 3 just be a sequel?
think bout it- the republic is fragile the Jedi council is non existent and the telos restoration project being funded by the republic has pushed the republic into an economic depression. Czercha is taking advantage of the poor and the gang warlords are beginning to rebel against planetary governments. along with revan and the exile going to find and fight the real sith there is huge story available- if u play as the exile u can lead the republic in its effort against civil war and reformation of the republic(light side) as well as destroy the sith or as a dark side aid in destorying the republic and embracing the sith teachings in the outer regions... stories lines are vast after kotor 2

I think that making it a prequel would be illogical as, in my opinion, KotOR II was pretty much just a set up for the 3rd. I think it would be a real let down if they finished the series at the end of II without us finding out what happened to Revan beyond the outer rim in the unknown regions, who the true sith are or what became of the Exile and his crew on the Hawk. Also making it a sequel gives them so much more creative freedom whereas a prequel is very limiting as we know a fair bit about what happened during the Mandalorian Wars.
Hmm. Much fear i sense in you. Be mindful of your feelings. Fear is a path to the Dark side. Fear leads to anger, anger leads to hate, hate leads to suffering ...

i feel the same way hatchett. I think bringing both of them back wouldnt be worthy of a 3 game, it would be like a content download, but not a third game. Seriously, if u think about it, you wouldnt be able to build your characters if revan and the exile were them. They would already be jacked and decked out with crazy force powers. that would be no fun. also there would be no need of a beginning because you already know what you are doing, and it would just be a battle the whole game, fighting the true sith. There would be no side quests either.
KOTOR III will be coming out in 2008 on 360!! I saw it posted on a magazine!!

it has to be a toatally different setting, like you start off on alderran and you have to go to corousant to get trained be a jedi to use the force. the jedi, however, teaches you, not about the jedi way, just how to use the force, and he feels it is for you to decide the path, hoping you will go lightside.
