my party is level 92 atm
I'm in the process of grinding them to 94 so I can run elite BW.
Vix is throw spec w/ about 900 dex and really supplements my partys damage. Flurry is amazing w/ my style of playing (I pull as many mobs as I can, invulnerability, provoke, corrosive erruption, gathered bolt) usually kills about 90% of the mobs then I get all the powers back w/ the remaining 10%.
With that said would it be worth my while to respec vix as a blood assassin? He has the full plainswalker set and numerous dex supplements, damage range is 250-700ish, 222 a tick bleed. I've been looking at the blood assassin skills most require intellect and it appears as though many of the skills don't scale well. Plus I don't really like the idea of trying to incorperate intellect into my item budget. So far the idea has been pretty negative... although
Logically I would assume that because the blood assassin has to sacrifice health and stats (split dex and int) to do thier damage, that the overall damage output after attanining a comparable set of gear would be leagues above my pure ranged vix. Plus the name blood assassin just sounds so bad-ass. I, however, have little experiencing playing a blood assassin.
any feedback from experienced blood assassins out there?
should I convert vix to blood assassin?

Well i haven't much experience about elite chars resp. turning a quite (dex)-specalized char into a multi-classed char requiring (here) now intelligence too. A little benefit is probable just by picking out the most interesting skills, but to become more BA-like i guess Vix will loose many dex bonuses to push intelligence a bit.
However leveling combat magic shouldn't be a big problem - the BA skills won't require more than combat magic level 30 and the weapon enchantment spells only depend partially on it.
About BA skills scaling: When you watch the char's stats how skillpoints on 'Blood Shots' will increase the stat values then you will see nothing! - But this is rather a display-related matter, during combat the skill bonus will be applied as it should.
And for entering Elite-BW: If you already have defeated Elite-Valdis you should be able to enter the BW map independing on the entry level indicated.

Totally modded.
Oak,lvl53 blood assassin
Really blood assassin is a boost to rangers, the extra skills like mana shots and blood arrows help them impale double-time and the the marks of fire, repulsion, rending and harvesting are as cool as they sound.
Also, you get a cool name and ominous red scrolls in your book, what's not to like?
