After searching the forums, I was unable to find the answer to this question:
Is it possible to have multiple single-player campaigns? I'm in BW nearing the end of Vet mode, and I'm starting to see that I have some issues that would be very hard to undo, albeit small issues. So, I don't really want to start a new campaign if it will mess up my current one, but I do want to get started on a new set of characters.
I don't have a manual for reference.
Edit: Another question. If I enter Elite Mode, after finishing Vet, and then create a new main character and start a new single-player campaign, will I then be able to start out with a 6-person party at Level 1? If so, would I have to start in Elite Mode, and would the mobs start out impossible for me to kill (ie.level 30something)?
Thanks
Multiple Campaigns
You can create as many characters as you'd like, but each one will start the game anew. You'll be restricted to a party of 4, you'll have to start on the first difficulty setting, and so forth.

Sir Edmund: "Should you obey the lord who asks you to put a village of innocents to the torch? Is that chivalrous? Is it noble?"
Me: "It's a great way to get promoted, I know that much."

Thanks SW. One more tidbit to clarify. If I save my current party (currently nearing the end of BW Vet), and then create a new campaign and start from scratch with a new character, will they both have their own save locations? I'm so close to finishing Vet, I'd hate to have to start over from the Dryad Outpost when I'm already in Glorydeep.
Thanks, again

I haven't really played more than one char. on single player, but IIRC when you continue the singleplayer game it will let you select which character to use and then you select the difficulty level then it loads where you left off on the map with that character.
And your save folders should be in your Documents folder/My Games folder/DS2(or DS2BW) folder/Save folder/ then Multiplayer and Singleplayer folders. Within those will be your individual character folders with character saves + backups of those and map saves. You can make a copy of the folders (Can copy the 'Save' folder to cover all bases) to somewhere else for a backup in case you have any problems.
