I might have recalled hearing his name mentioned a lot in KOTOR (either through some NPCs or from certain weapons and armours). I probably think it's easter egg material, though.

Less Loading time and less glitches i got soo tired of playing KOTOR II because my game kept messing up in between loading screens. i also want to see more of Reven and the Exile After they both left. like what happened and where did they go? also i want to be able to get a lightsaber faster it takes way too long in both games to earn/build a lightsaber. also they should be able to interact with anything and everything around them and with the NPCs. There are quite a bit of things i would like to change for the third one but there is really nothing i can do about it.

I agree.

Less loading time
More Real Time Gameplay
More realistic Gameplay(Some strikes should be an very damaging: a stab for instance)
Choose race(I have always wanted to become a Twi'lek  )
Better Graphics
No Glitches
Better Story(Keep memories, No lost powers, just work your way up)

What I want

A lot of people are saying that Lightsabers and force powers should do more damage. I don't think that would be a good adition, because that might turn the game into a hack-and-slash. The way they work the weapons and their power are good.

-I would like to see, like a lot of people are saying, larger cities and less locked doors. I would like to be able to get any random NPC on your team, and probably have a limit to the number of characters you can have, obviously.

-The thought of more in deapth space battles intrigue me. Maybe give us control of the ship and give us the ability to make upgrades on the ship and swoop bikes? Also, I think there should be an armory in the ship, where it displays some of the weapons/armor/items that you have, instead of making it seem like we carry unlmited amounts of stuff that poofs into never ending pockets.

-We should be able to choose our race, if it fits well with the story line.

-A more in deapth armor and weapons system. If we make upgrades to armor or weapons, we should see the change. Also, perhaps we should be able to equip multiple types of armor, such as gloves, braces, leggings, chest pieces, helmet, etc. We should have to option to wear hoods if we are wearing Jedi Robes or something.

I could go on, but not at the moment.

*Edit- About Cassus Fett. I think he is probably dead, because why else would he be leaving his armor and weapons around?

Cassus is dead I believe, I think it says that in his armor description, but anyway..

New armor options and categories like: leggings, braclets, gloves(already have it), boots, better masks, upper armor, lower armor, and layers of clothing=sweeeet

like if you are going to a cold planet being required to have layers of clothing or just cold resistant armor would be cool, because it would make the game a little more real and would add a little sidequest if you didnt have that armor already.

robes with hoods, all that needs to be said

different hilts for light sabers, and more crystal options, like a hilt that can hold three or four crystals but costs like 20,0000 credits, and you buy hilts like you would buy lenses, and other crystals.
KOTOR III will be coming out in 2008 on 360!! I saw it posted on a magazine!!

Agreed, the NPC thing would be cool. I think it should be that anybody can come in your 'army' but that only your party(the real characters) can be semi-playable and able to go on your ship, the others of your army(the soldiers etc) will be on other ships so you will have a complete fleet. And all the NPC can die.

Nice

I like the sound of that. An NPC army would always come in handy. THe higher ranking in the army or whatever for the republic the more you would be able t recruit. So if you were a General, you would be able to recruit a ton of people.

-I think that to add a new edge to the game, they could implement the fire emblem style, meaning if anyone dies, they never come back. It would be more challenging. I don't know if I would want that, but it would make the game seem more real. If someone died they could have an awesome cut seen of their last remarks or something. Just throwing out ideas.

-It would also be nice if you were not forced to become a Jedi. What if you wanted to become a bounty hunter instead? There should be a plot tree that changes with each thing you choose, not just Light and Dark.

-It would be cool to be able to use the force to recruit beasts more permanantly, and they would become like a sort of pet that fights for you. Heck, if Beastriders can do it, why couldn't a Jedi?

when party members lose all of their VP, they don't die, they are only unconscious. they are actually dead when the whole party has 0 VP

as good of an idea as this is (and i do support it. replaying the games as a Jedi gets dull), it doesn't seem as dramatic or important if a bounty hunter saves the galaxy than if a Jedi did. the Jedi are like the trademark of Star Wars

beastriders are basically animal tamers, and taming/training an animal is not an instantaneous thing. to control the beast via use of the Force, one would assume that the Jedi would have to repeatedly use the Force to keep it tame (depending on size of the beast. Gizka would die if you even used mind tricks on them...)

I thougt of a jedi battlefront thing, and before everybody says you could be a jedi in battlefront II, what i mean is you're just some jedi and you don't have extraordinary powers, just a jedi that served in some war, mandalorian or clone wars. Wouldn't that be coool

And all the NPC can die.
I think the pay off here is how interesting you can make a random NPC (dialogue, attributes etc.) that would make it worth putting them in your party, over the characters *meant* to be in your party, if you see what I mean. I'm not saying it owuldn't be cool - if you could recruit anybody to your team, it would add to the replayability alot - but am more cautious as to how long it would take a game dev to design hunderds of non-generic characters.

I like the idea of the important crew and the non-important crew, though.

NPC's dying... at first, I thought this was a great idea. It would make the game much more of a challenge (perhaps it only happens on a harder level, or something...). BUT I think it will create more problems for the game design. One of the cool features of KOTOR was acciedntally discovering the NPC's backstories and their significance to certain quests - if they can die, all of that will presumably have to be cut out.

You can actually get his armor but it cost a hell of alota $. In kotor 1, On dantoonie, you gotta talk to this rodian alien dude (hes near one of the speeder bikes, outside of the jedi enclave) and he'll sell some stuff to you. There you can find cassus fett's armor in the buy list.
Getting your hand cut off by a lightsaber in the star wars universe is a natural thing. Mace windu lost his hand. General greivous lost 2 out of 4 hands. Count dooku lost both of his hands. Luke got his hand cut off. That alien got his hand sliced off by obi-wan in the cantina in episode 4. Anakin got his hands sliced off like, um... I lost count :D

Possibilty cassus might be alive...
DarthSpiden wrote:Cassus is dead I believe, I think it says that in his armor description, but anyway..
He might be alive dude. On korriban in Kotor 1, when you go to a counter (table dude, its the first one, you cant miss it) theres a sith selling stuff. When you talk to him for the first time he'll say he has some mandalorian equipment left by mandalorians on sell. Among those equipments are cassus fett's pistol. It could be cassus fett who were among the mandalorians to leave their equipment behind... this is just my speculation bro. Im hoping to at least see cassus fett doing a cameo in KOTOR 3. Jango and boba kick ass!!!

I meant with NPC's the people on the street and you have your partymembers like kreiaand bastila, they will have background and they can't die but the NPC's can.

Ok, so you can recruit people on the street?

I've got nothing against that idea, it's just that, well, I'm not sure there would really be much point...

If they help provide additional firepower, why not? I know of a few games that did this such as Final Fantasy Tactics Advance and Sid Meier's Pirates. But don't expect them to have anything special (in terms of personality and what not) as they're just ordinary NPCs. Even in Final Fantasy Tactics Advance, only the second main character have a role in the story. The rest are there just for backup in case of battle.

Well, what I mean is, if they stay with the 3 member party system, why would you not pick the more interesting ones who have specific dialogue, reactions to situations etc. I can see why a player might want to do it - perhaps a different challenge or replayability - but I'm not sure those reasons would persuade a game developer...
Unfortunately, though I've been tempted buy Sid Maier's Pirates several times, I've never got round to actually playing it.
