Bastila and Revan Fans: How would you want to have them back in KotOR III?

Guess im the first one to post at this page. I would want Bastila as a playable character (because of her lovely sexy voice, I WUVE YOU JENNIFER HALE!!!!) And jolee bindu as well as a addition. Those 2 are da best!!!! Oh and lets not forget T3 and HK-47!!!

My conclusion, I think Bastila might come back in Kotor 3. You have not expressed Revans true fellings for her if Revan is a male. Bastila is still in love with Revan, so she might be in kotor 3 with the Exile to find Revan. Bastilas lover is still out there, know dought she would want to be in on this kotor 3

Dont get your hopes up on Kotor 3, Lucas arts changed their engins, they are worried about doing some other tittles besides Kotor 3.

They need to continue the work on Kotor 3, so we can play it.

Crappy Company. Kotor is not that popual now.

I think Revan will become playable (as well as the exile) when the next main character journeys to the Unknown regions to fight the true sith. Kreia(or Traya) said when they went they had to leace everything behind. my guess is the final battle will be revan, exile, and next main vs true sith lords.
(and personally i don't really care about bastila.)

Bastila Shan is the most important character in the Kotor series, more important than Darth Revan his or her self. Yes Bastila seems and ack Brittish, thats the good thing about Bastila. If there is no Bastila when Kotor 3 is played, the story is going to be odd.

"For fact that Revan is going to speak about Bastila," they did have a big love conflicts and honnor of the jedi code. Revan will speek to Exile about Bastila if Revan is a male for fact in Kotor 3. People say things, that I just dont seem to understand some times

No, he meant he loves Jennifer Hale's voice, who does the voice acting for Bastila. Hence, Bastila's voice. It's very Liz Hurley-esque...

i think that they should come back as playable players so what could happen is that reven could join you and then because hes with you bastla could join you and when you want to romance her just swicth out of your guy and talk to her

Revan Bastilla what happened? Revan knew he couldn't bring her or she would be turned to the dark side. So he left her.

Huh? I don't get it. If I recall correctly, wasn't it mentioned in KOTOR 2 that the reason he didn't bring anybody from the previous game is because of the fact that this task is for him to face alone?

I think revan/bastilla/exile/carth etc. could be brought back, but the game must be able to start from level 1. There will be newbies to the trilogy. Revan/exile/bastilla and any other Jedi are captured by the TS and drained of levels using the Rakatan technology. Atton/juhani/jolee/mira somehow were kept from dying (I've killed all or some - lost track) and you are a new padawan under one of them. You manage to access memories of T3 and HK47 and learn some clues to the whereabouts of revan. The games definitely use these bots to tie into another story. Rescue revan at level 15 which leads you to bastilla/exile etc. You still need to determine revan m/f/ls/ds by questions, but halfway through the game the options are manageable and revan isn't uber strong this way.

Just my thoughts

I don't think they should return as playable characters. I reached maximum level with them, and correct me if i'm wrong but don't you start the game at level 1 ? They should appear as side characters. For example Bastila could be a Jedi Master in the Temple on Coruscant. Carth as a Republic general, Atton as a Republic pilot, finding Revan as a side quest(maybe his help is needed again), Kreia as a dead bitch, HK as one of the main enemies(he went crazy)......

Btw sorry if my spelling isn't good, i'm not that good in English, so correct me if you notice mistakes.

They must return whether as playable or non-playable. they are major parts of the story that is unfolding of the true sith. of course how they appear must depend on how the exile and Revan are described by the new guy or girl. for example, we learn of Bastila's relationship with Revan if Revan is described as male and vice versa for carth (and the same for the exile if there were any solid relationships to carve out from there.) But even if all of them (except some from kotor 2) should appear. IT is a must.

I am totally with you on that one mate! if Revan came back it would be totalyy awesome. Revan and Bastilla's romance looked like a piece of string being chased by a cute little playful kitten. It was so funny. Carth was a wierd character though, infact, I hated him. He was a nosy critter that would snoop around up your crack and then not open up to you when you snoop around him. He was a total wierdo.

Revan and Bastilla were like, the best couple in the universe.

I think Bastila must return, maybe not as playable but at least playing a major role in the next padawan's quest, for example as his/her mentor in the jedi academy where she is a master (or grand master). Maybe she can travel with you but you can't control her. Maybe the same can be done for Revan.

Hello all! First Post here, not my last

Just thought i'd pin in my opinion. I have played original KOTOR when it came out on XBOX and loved every second of it, hell i even stopped playing Morrowind for it (crazy i know!). Anyways, i traded in my XBOX about 3 years ago.. and i have only just got the original game for KOTOR on PC and just completed it again (LSM Raven). I have to say that the love story side to KOTOR is pretty much what drew me into it all, i have never encountered such a touching compassion between two animated characters.

I'm not soft, nor am i gay. But i must say it brought a tear to my eye a few minutes ago, it's driving me mad that people are sayingt hat there was little to no reference of them and what happened to them in KOTOR II (hence why im probably not going to play it as i feel that it should have led on from KOTOR I). Lucas dropped the great story here, it destroyed it.

What they should have done for KOTOR II is carry on leveling from 20. Why not? All in all, 20 is a really low level in the world of RPG/MMORPG. Why not let us go up to 40? This way you can master you're skills further (continuing on the 'special case' idea at the jedi council on Dantooine). Your love for Bastila grew and your bond widened further then both would have expected. Then in KOTOR III level up to 60? 90? or further? Why not make the widest ranged game ever anticipated?

What i mean by that is why can't you create loads and loads (i mean LOADS) of variables and choices? Yes aLOT of work i know, Lucas is a rich company... Microsoft have ALOT of money and have the Halo under their belt (the cortanna and MC (master cheif) love story?), bring Microsoft, Lucas writers, BioWare and Obsidian and you can accomplish this. Just think, having huge worlds to explore, so many side quests its unreal, a fantasticly brilliant plot and story that is divided into sections (read below). Bastila and Revan story continues, or even Revan & Carth!

With the 'sections', i mean why can't you break up the storyline into bits? Say if you chose the DSM then you would be into the Sith and leader with astila as your apprentice. Carth would be on the unknown world... good way to continue a story.

Or

LSM, you and Bastila create a jedi accademy in dantooine at the ruins of the one that was destroyed. Carth is a war hero in the republic and a story can continue for the Raven & Bastila love followers, a new sith threat is undergoing.

Or

LSF, you and carth seperate obviously due to you a jedi and he is a soldier, but you reunite in the war (yes it always continues) while a new sith lord arises, bastila gets killed or even assassinated.

If all these are included in a fully fledged world of NPC interaction, with every action you take depending the end game result, would be amazing. Morrowind did it. I cant see why you should be restricted to not killing everything you see ingame just because you are bored and have done coursework all day.

For the third game i would like to see a proper in depth story, EVEN THIS: we already know about the manda & republic wars, why cant we find out what happened or even go further and visit it (travel back in time, as say you choose LSM then you can reenact how you were back then). I would love to have the battle system kept as it was in KOTOR, more weapons, more aliens, more different dialogues, new worlds, travel to different galaxies? more powers (i find these a bit hard to control and a tad dissapointing in KOTOR I (based on how i havent played KOTOR II).

All in all, LA shouldnt have bypassed from the story. They didnt in the films and it worked wonders, this game isn't based on the films but in the past of the films so it should have a following story. Not one that is all over the place;

KOTOR I - Raven and Bastila
KOTOR II - no Raven and Bastila
KOTOR III - Raven and Bastila?

They are the main characters of KOTOR, period. Raven is your character and you are bonded with Bastila, you are in love with her (LSM), so the game is revolved around your choices and how you forsee yourself. The game demands that they are a huge part if not all part of the third game. If not, i feel as if alot of KOTOR fans will not follow it any more or will stick with KOTOR I, i for one would love to see them in action in KOTOR III and i can honestly say i can't see myself playing KOTOR II in thenear future.

My two cents, sorry bout the points and opinions being made all over the place

Im just getting driven mad by not knowing what has happened to their love story.

Why does everybody want the characters from the 2nd kotor in the 3rd one?

It's a new game,LET'S HAVE SOME NEW CHARACTERS!!. Yeah I know some have to be in the game,but i mean really,do we really need carth,and bao-daur, and a lot of the other ones as well???

A new game..deserves new characters!

I agree.

Obviously, people are going to talk about what they want in terms of the other games. But it would be very disappointing if K3 was just an extended version of K1 or 2.
