What level of skill do you need to be, to attain a better potion? I remember doing this once, but i forgot the formula i came up with. I think it is every 4 levels you get a better potion grade, but i am not sure. Can someone check for me? I'm playing another game of DS2 to make certain, but it takes time. Has anyone else done this? I couldn't find a thread for it. The only search results i got (Potions, Potions Skills, Natural Bond / Survival) was someone asking about mage skills, and the other asking about how the skills work (reply - you run through the bushes).
Can someone check the following example, see if i have got it correct. Or if someone has already done this, can they post there findings? Thank you.
(Natural Bond / Survival)
Level 1 (or above) - Basic Potion
Level 5 (or above) - Standard Potion
Level 9 (or above) - Large Potion
Level 12 (or above) - Mega Potion
Level 16? (or above) - ???
Level 20 - ???
I *think* that is correct. I am not sure, it was a long time since i checked the levels at which you get a new grade of potion. I only went do far as to Mega Potion. Couldn't be bothered to "waste" skill points anymore.

Spoiler
Get level 9 SP (or better yet, 12 SP) in both Survival and Natural Bond, and go to the entrance of the first city (Eiralan) and claim the potions on the two bushes outside (red and blue - see the tutorial next to them if your new). Then, save/exit and restart. Bushes are refilled, so go back and claim the potions again. Rinse and repeat until you have no more space in your inventory. Sell the potions at the store. Large potions are around 75 each (i think) and Mega potions, 125 each (i think). 1 Character can get anywhere between 5000 - 12000 gold each. Party of 4 (at the start) 20,000 - 50,000 (ish) per run. Takes ~20-30 minutes to fill 3 characters.
Enjoy.
Enjoy.
