New Races

Post by Darth Visaira »

Would people be interested in being a new race KotOR III like Ithorian's, Jawa's, Hutt's (probably not), or just humans?

There's been some talk of this somewhere, but I forget where exactly.

It would be quite cool if choosing a certain race had different abilities and powers, at the expense of others. If its just superficial, I'm not sure I'd see the point. You would be playing Jedi Academy, essentially.

I would personally find it very amusing to be a Jedi Jawa, but I doubt it will happen...

there really should be more than just humans unless it makes it a problem in the story line
i think even with the story line, we should still be able to have a species that is humaoid but still a different species
such as Twi'Lek, Zabrak, and Cerean

new races would be very sweet. I just hope that lack of variations in abilities or storyline doesn't turn this into a new version of Jedi Academy. and if new races are available, bloody well make them available to both male and female. that's what i hated about JA, was i couldn't make male zabraks or twi'leks. well, that and the voice acting...

Yes!!!
I'd love to play as a Zabrak and have the cool tatoo's, like Darth Maul.

Let's hope for new playable races in kotor III

Valthiri> Well. That and the fact that they can feel and influence other peoples feelings with pheromones (and are certainly better looking than the falleen). Think of the impact on Persuade (my personal favorite among skills).

oh, MOST definitely i must agree with you  i always try and max my persuade, even if it means losing other crucial skills. for me, it's always repair, computers, and persuade.

God? who is God? "there is only the Force". :p yeah i guess we do think a bit alike. i really don't care much for the skills after those 3. maybe demolitions or security, but that's it. i'm an activist, screw strategy, planning, and being prepared. maybe that's why i suck at Warcraft, Starcraft, and other such games :p

That would be horrid. Sliming around the universe is not the idea I had in mind. :D :D
What about Frozians? Yeah they walk weirdly, but their extra joints in their arms and legs could make them excellent lightsaber duelists. If not playable then maybe as a master in the jedi high council

I think that having a lot of the unseen species that are in the movies should be placed in the game.
Humanoid characters would be a cool idea to be able to play with.
Nothing that has extra arms, or anything that could interupt the story line though.
And I would really like to see a lot of different characters in the enclave as masters,if theres going to be one.[Which Im sure there will be.]
