Wall of water Charon

Wall of water Charon

Charon has killed me and when I return to pusue the attack, I can't get through the wall of water. It will not cease. Any suggestions? Do I just have to save the game and restart?

The water wall should come down if you click on it, and if not you have an, unfortunately, permanent game glitch.
Listen up maggots, Mr. Popo's 'bout to teach you the pecking order.
It goes you, the dirt, the worms inside of the dirt, Popo's stool, Kami, then Popo.

Thought I had the same problem one time. Couldn't figure out how to get that wall of water down. Restarted the game three times. What I found was, it seemed to be a little tricky but you have to get your mouse over it "just right" and it will highlight (like big gates and what not) and let you click it and get it out of the way.

Keep trying...it's a bit odd. Just move your mouse around it slowly until you find it. Wish I could remember the exact spot to tell you, but I am sure you will find it.
