How to play on lan?

Post by Snoopy666 »

Me and my friend are trying to play on lan because we don't have the original, but we are having a bit of trouble: If I host a server he can't see it on the lan list and vice versa. Is there a way so we could play? Or we need the original copies?

Ok guys there is a way around your dilemma. You need to get a program called hamachi both need to install it. You'll need version 1.0.0.59 and do not update it because the updated version will not work. You'll also need to move hamachi to the top of adapters and bindings(Control panel-network connections-advanced-advanced settings) in xp. Then you just create a network name and password. Once you are all on the network, one of you needs to host a lan game and the rest join it.

@snoopy, what do you mean by original? Are you talking about patches or something else?
