Baby's first Karazhan raid!

Post by Galuf the Dwarf »

At 6 PM US server time, my Stormreaver Main (Mershrak, 70 Orc Hunter) partook in my first ever raid of Karazhan. You can bet I was nervous about what to expect.

Well, we only wiped a few times, but overall, we got things done, notably defeating the following bosses:
1) Attunemen the Huntsman
2) Moroes (Relatively straightforward, easier done than said)
3) Maiden of Virtue (Not many problems; found out my hunter's Mend Pet was overpowering the damage from Maiden's AoE  )
4) The Wizard of Oz Opera Event.
5) Shade of Aran. (Wiped on him once)
6) The Chess Event. (Pretty much a clean sweep. :D )
7) Prince Machellezar (after wiping on him 2 or 3 times :speech: )

My hunter wasn't the MOST ideally geared, but he prevailed, and received the following items (links to Wowhead.com for reference)
- Steelhawk Crossbow
- Saberclaw Talisman

Between that, and winning the Ring of Ghoulish Delight off the Headless Horseman (Halloween encounter) earlier today, I have to say, it's been a good day. :D
