Best way to max resistances?

Hi
I'm currently playing a lvl 47 Harbinger working my way through the Orient on Epic at the moment. Most of my resistances are pretty good - between 50 and 140 (!) % for most of them, but for some weird reason my poison resistance is -40% and pierce resistance -2%. This means that whenever I reach an enemy attacking with poison I get wasted really quickly. But I can't seem to increase that resistance?? There doesn't seem to be any essences that give poison resistance except the feathers (?) which only attach to armour and my armour is pretty good right now and I don't want to downgrade in order to get the poison resistance as I'd lose half of my other resistances doing so! It's kinda frustrating. Any suggestions on how I can avoid getting poisoned to death all the time? Ditto with the piercing.

You might have to make a sacrifice to get your poison resist up. Depends what class you are. If you are melee I think Athenas Battlegreaves give poison resist. Not sure if they drop in epic...But maybe something will drop that gives poison resist. Loop of Chiron gives pierce and poison resist. Murk Crawlers give great poison resist (and pierce).

I would go to the advanced search on gamebanshees titan quest page. advanced items search. then put poison resist (and piercing) in and see the items. hopefully one of them drops. You could farm normal hades and hope some good poison resist item drops for example.

Only thing i can suggest is to farm typhon and other bosses such as talos in order to find some better gear. crystal of erebus has a random bonus that includes poison, pierce and elemental. Also epic herakles might has a random pierce or poison res bonus.
