While browsing around, I come across an article from Computer and Videogames which mentioned artworks rumoured to be for KOTOR 3 (site with pictures). They're drawn by Lucasarts' concept artist, James Zhang.
''They say truth is the first casualty of war. But who defines what's true? Truth is just a matter of perspective. The duty of every soldier is to protect the innocent, and sometimes that means preserving the lie of good and evil, that war isn't just natural selection played out on a grand scale. The only truth I found is that the world we live in is a giant tinderbox. All it takes...is someone to light the match" - Captain Price

This moves KotOR III a bit away from the unlikely side of the Force, doesn't it?

Joker, use the edit button underneath your post, and there will be no reason to apologize for spelling.

After seeing those pics more carefully, I am both less convinced that a KotOR III will be made and certain that we'll see it sooner rather than later.

Check the bottom right corner of this pic. 5.07.2004. Imo, this may mean two things:

1. A third KotOR was indeed planned but the idea was scrapped.
2. KotOR III may be near its release (three and a half years is, I think, more than enough time to develop a game).

Apparently some guys contacted the designer of those pictures, he stated

“I’ve never used photobucket — those images were swiped off a private folder on my website, and certainly weren’t intended for public use.”
“I can’t really comment on anything regarding the images.”

Don't know what to think actually.., here is the link:

I read something that means three has to be, HAS TO BE, a KotOR III.
Go to: Revan - Wookieepedia, the Star Wars wiki and go down to Into the Unknown, and it's a little sentence at the end.

For those who can't be bothered doing so, this is what it says; "the Jedi Exile left to join Revan again as she did in the Mandalorian Wars".
What side?Dark:devil :o r Light:angel:? Strong:mischief :o r Weak  ? Remember, only the Dark side shall prevail, and the light will fail.

you are confusing logic with reality. Logically, there should be a part 3, not just because the story isnt finished, but because the game would generate a lot of revenue for lucas arts and whichever company that meaks the game.

But reality has to kick in, a knights of the old republic game isnt an easy one to make. It is easier to make a game that is less complex, and takes less time to make. Also, bioware and obsidian are said to be working on other projects, therefore, there arent many companies that can make this game.

Most likely kotor3 will be made, but do not expect it within the next 2 years. Only when lucas arts is out of fresh ideas, or bioware/obsidian make time for the game, will there be a kotor3, so dont hold your breath.

As much as it hurts to say it. all this means is that lucas arts finished the story. It does not mean there will be a game.

I like KoToR 1 and 2 but i would'nt get my hopes up on a 3, it may not be that great or they might not make one. Or it would be a mmorpg and that would in my opinion be a big of a dissapointment as them not making it at all!

Isn't that just taken from the end of K2?
