Yeah, but that's a mod. The makers of the game will most likely follow the original storyline without any mods.Yoni wrote:There is a mod for KotoR 1 where you can save Malak and he becomes a reedemed jedi.
This talk about Malak being in the game could go on forever. When they make the game we will see.

Star Wars Knights Of The Old Republic 3
Visual Quality
Extremely good quality, so good that…. you can see blood and guts when you look closer at the enemy corpse you just killed.
Planets
Coruscant
Taris
Dantooine
Tatooine
Kashyyyk
Manaan
Telos
Nar Shadda
Malachor 5
Onderon
Duxn
Korriban
Lehon
All updated and upgraded. They should look a lot better visually and be a lot larger. There should be many more planets in the game, and you’re able to travel there any time you wish! Having your own base/house on one of these planets is another thing that KOTOR 3 should have.
Inter Planetary Transport
Fly your personal (upgradeable) ship (including gigantic ships like the Ravager).
Drive around the planets using swoop bikes.
All planets have their own unique transport systems.
Fighting Style
NO MORE TURN BASED COMBAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I prefer taking combat style of Revenge of the Sith ….or Force unleashed. But being able to change Jedi/other fighting form. ….Meaning you have completely different stance and moves when you change your form from Makashi to Niman to Ataru styles.
And the environment interaction ability in combat of Jedi Academy and force unleashed. Jumping on to anything/any where, or climbing anything, using the force to see through walls, being able to brake (using the force) parts of buildings/objects to throw at enemy and run sideways/up and do cartwheel off walls.
Character creation
Character portrait: The creation of the character should be fully customizable. When you gain or lose strength/dexterity your height (what food you eat, should also be another factor in height and weight) weight and muscle mass should show the changes. Your stance, and the colour, voice and condition of skin and eyes should show your current alignment. You should also be able to get tattoos and change hair style.
Species(Many species): Fully customizable Face/body/voice/hair/skin colour/muscle mass/weight/height.
Fully customizable clothes/amour, colour of amour/robes, colour of robes. Also you should be able to put the hood up or down, and take off or add any part of any clothing you want especially if you have a cyborg body part.
Classes: In all factions there should be tonnes of different classes that can be chosen after the character joins the faction and moves up the ranks.
Attributes: Strength/dexterity/constitution/wisdom/intelligence/charisma. The characters base attributes determined by what species they are. Then they will slowly rise if the character studies/trains them by using them a lot to gain experience to boost to next levels. Or by buying equipment to boost them temporarily.
Skills: Computer use/demolition/stealth/awareness/persuade/repair/security/treat injury. The characters base skills determined by what species they are, then it’s up to them to boost their skills by studying each subject, and by actually performing them in the game to increase them through experience. Or by buying equipment to boost them temporarily.
Feats: Same as the skills, they can only be increased by using them a lot to gain next level! The first level in a feat is free, the 2nd and 3rd can only be learned by finding a master of it, and asking them to train you or finding holocrons of powerful feats.
Passive combat feats: Amour proficiency/Weapon proficiency/Duelling/Two weapon fighting/conditioning/toughness.
Active combat feats: Critical strike/flurry/power attack/power blast/rapid shot/sniper shot.
Skill feats: Caution/empathy/gear head.
Force Powers: Same as feats, they can only be increased by using them a lot to gain next level! The first level in a power is free, the 2nd and 3rd can only be learned by finding a master of it, and asking them to train you or finding holocrons of powerful force powers.
Universal:
Light Side:
Dark Side:
Equipments
All equipment should be fully upgradeable and customizable with many different styles:
Lightsaber: Hilt/beam/and all the components used to build it.

Vibroblade: Same as
Amour: Same as
Robes: Same as
Headgear: Same as
Armband: Same as
Belt: Same as
Implant: Same as
Crew
You can have 10 possible characters in your party/crew. You should also have more than 2 members (i say all members if you want) who join you on your exploration of the world you're in.
They have got to be smarter too, advanced AI that respond to enemy attacks physically as well as verbally with better facial expressions. 7/10 times the crew are too easily killed or beaten in their fights, even though i personally picked what their feats, powers and skills were going to be.
Create Crew:
You're able to create members and fully customize them as you would your main character.
Pick Crew:
These guys are not fully customizable. Their face is set at default, but their clothes, amour and other items are still customizable. All these players have to be asked to join your crew, you do this by gaining enough influence by completing missions with them that reveal more of their past. You find and ask them in planets all over the galaxy and different factions you join.
Example: You have achieved Jedi/Sith Knight status. To have access to secrets in the library you have to got be a Jedi Master. For this you need to train a padawan. So, you then search for a player in the academies to train, they will then join your crew, once you taught them new techniques by doing some side missions with them.
Crew Combinations:
The developers need to focus more on crew combinations, rather than more replaying the game. I wanted to work as a team to kill enemies... Hope they improve that because it was crap in KOTOR 1 and 2.
Example: Revan force waves all the enemies away stunning them, Bastila force storms all the members and Canderous and HK-47 bombs them with frag/ion grenades while Bastila and Revan continuely force storm them. While the other crew members defend the core attackers...
I found it annoying to set up these attack combinations for the crew manually, it would make my gaming experience so much more enjoyable if the crew followed my commands properly, such as a combo button to automatically perform a crew combination.
Missions
The game should have many quests and small side missions for every: Faction and Individuals.
And as the crew leader, you should be able to send different crew members to do missions for you in which you can take control of those characters, like you could in KOTOR 2... Only you'd decide when, where and how you do the missions... C'mon the crew's in KOTOR 1 & 2 had some of the most powerful characters in that era, why would they all just sit in the Ebon Kawk? They'd all be sent on missions by Revan the Exile and Kriea.
Example: For the final training mission for your padawan you send him/her on a mission alone in Tatooine.
Another example: Mandalore/HK is sent to kill a powerful senator.
Main Quest: By joining the Jedi (light side ending) or Sith (dark side ending) you’re able to complete the game, but to complete the game you have to go up the ranks in either the Sith factions/organizations or the Republics gaining respect and power throughout the galaxy.
Republic Factions:
The Senate
You’re able to become a Politian, rise through the ranks to Supreme Chancellor of the Republic. Has many side missions given by people in the senate and all worlds..
Jedi Order (Key for Light Side ending)
Start off as a youngling and rise through the ranks to a Jedi councillor and eventually the Grand Master of the Jedi Order. Has many side quests from members in the Order.
Republic Fleet
Republic Secret Service
Trade Federation
Planetary armed forces
Legal cults
Many more
Sith Factions:
The Sith Order (Key for Dark Side ending)
Join the sith academy then later become a Sith Lord on the Sith council and finally Dark Lord.
Sith Fleet
Sith assassination
Dark Jedi Cults
Black Sun
Many more
Neutral Organizations
Exchange
Czerka Corp
Many more
Plot
Doesn’t matter too much…. as long as satisfactory answers are given to questions from previous games.. However, I want the game to start off when you’re very young, …maybe if you’re found by the Jedi/Sith (depends who you want to be found by) and trained in the ways of the Jedi/Sith starting from youngling rank.. From there you can join other factions as you slowly grow and develop through the game…
Sequel to KOTOR 2?
Definitely!!!!!!!!
Prequel to KOTOTR?
Sounds good, but you have to be Revan, (a must) to learn how he became the character he is.
MMORPG?
KOTOR is not ready for an MMO, maybe after the story is finished, and all the questions are answered properly.

I want a deeper philosophical battle between the Dark and the Light side.
That is, I want a Light Side person who truly describes the stuffyness, the locked-down factor of the Jedi and their stifling code; Atton did a beautiful job at making the whole "Jedi are hypocrites" point in KotOR 2, but I want an example of it in a major NPC, maybe even the antagonist.
At the same time, I want a Grey Sith, that is a Sith that uses the passion-fuelled Dark Side but is not a murderous bastard bent on universal conquest or intending to assassinate their immediate superiors for their own gain.
That's what I want. Moreover, I want to be able to PLAY as a Grey Sith.
And I want the Healing power where it belongs, in the Dark Side box.

Atton is one of the best characters in KOTOR 2, he's so much like Han Solo! LOL! And he's right about the Jedi being hypocrites. And i agree with what you sayThe Eyes of Evi wrote:I want a deeper philosophical battle between the Dark and the Light side.

We've already had a grey Sith, though you call them Dark Jedi not grey Sith... You're a Sith only if your extremely evil... Why is the healing power a dark side power? Sith are inward thinking, why would they want to heal? They don't believe they need to heal, they usually use drain, not heal... does the same thing anyway... more effective in a fight. That's what I want. Moreover, I want to be able to PLAY as a Grey Sith.

Some interesting ideas there, LordOfSithGods.
Not going to happen, I'm afraid. This is LucasArts, after all.LordOfSithGods wrote: Extremely good quality, so good that…. you can see blood and guts when you look closer at the enemy corpse you just killed.
I agree, a base would be cool. There should be many more planets in the game, and you’re able to travel there any time you wish! Having your own base/house on one of these planets is another thing that KOTOR 3 should have.
I haven't played either of those games. I found the ligthsaber forms in Jedi Academy really awkward to use though. I've commented elsewhere on the problem of jumping on everything - it's the same reason Oblivion took out levitation. A game can only render so much per level in order to run at a decent speed.NO MORE TURN BASED COMBAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Comepltely agree, except for the voice... no voices! LA games have an appalling record of this.Character portrait: The creation of the character should be fully customizable. When you gain or lose strength/dexterity your height (what food you eat, should also be another factor in height and weight) weight and muscle mass should show the changes. Your stance, and the colour, voice and condition of skin and eyes should show your current alignment. You should also be able to get tattoos and change hair style.
...
Fully customizable clothes/amour, colour of amour/robes, colour of robes. Also you should be able to put the hood up or down, and take off or add any part of any clothing you want especially if you have a cyborg body part.
I'm not sure what you mean by create your own - it sounds quite cool. I don't think it should be as easy as just picking them, though - not everybody is going to jump at the chance of being in your crew, you have to do some quests or something first. You’re able to either create your own crew, or pick people you want to join your crew from the worlds and factions in the game. It should be anybody you like, also… all the old characters from previous games will have to be in this one (well the ones that are alive still).
Ok, I really like your missions idea - a bit like Oblivion again, with different factions and so on - but wouldn't it be a bit silly to be Supreme Chancellor? Would a Jedi (not necessarily a Sith, obviously) even be allowed to do that? I like the idea, but maybe the highest rank is like head of the senate guard or something. The Senate
You’re able to become a Politian, rise through the ranks to Supreme Chancellor of the Republic. Has many side missions given by people in the senate and all worlds..

Go us!LordOfSithGods wrote:Atton is one of the best characters in KOTOR 2, he's so much like Han Solo! LOL! And he's right about the Jedi being hypocrites. And i agree with what you say
I don't count Kreia as a Grey Sith, really. She didn't adhere to the Code, after all. We've already had a grey Sith, though you call them Dark Jedi not grey Sith... You're a Sith only if your extremely evil... Revan was more of a Dark Jedi than a true believer of the Sith way... perhaps it's why he didn't change his name, as he was still Revan if you know what i mean...
Through my passion I gain strength, through my strength I gain power, through my power I gain victory - through victory, my chains are broken.
Kreia, while a character of the calibre of some Planescape characters I could mention, is not a Grey Sith. She's a Dark Jedi.
A Grey Sith would be a force adept who adhered to the Sith Code while not being a psychotic loony.
"Have you ever heard the story of Darth Plagueis the Wise?"Why is the healing power a dark side power? Sith are inward thinking, why would they want to heal? They don't believe they need to heal, they usually use drain, not heal... does the same thing anyway... more effective in a fight.
The Jedi don't believe in using the Force to stave off natural processes. Dying after taking a blaster shot in the gut is what one could count as a natural process. There's a reason Anakin turned to the Dark Side for healing; The Jedi don't heal, they callously let things take their course.

And why not Supreme Chancellor? This is a game after all. You may not like it, but others would. This game should give every player what they like... If you don't want to be Supreme Chancellor, and Grand Master Of the Jedi Order, then don't join the factions.bigredpanda wrote:I know all the problems with jumping and levitation in Oblivion and Jedi Academy, however i'm posting what i want, and i don't care if it's hard to do, if it's possible, then it should be done. I still think they should have voices.... Evil or good.Comepltely agree, except for the voice... no voices! LA games have an appalling record of this.
Create your own players in your crew with the main character. You customize them as much as possible like you would your main character... I always wanted to create a HK-47 of my own. All others you find in different planets and factions will only join you if you can become friends with them, or teach them... If you're a Jedi Knight, you'd have a Padawan who would follow you for training... Others well you ask them to join your crew like Luffy does in One Piece after you help them in side missions which would reveal more of their life....I'm not sure what you mean by create your own - it sounds quite cool. I don't think it should be as easy as just picking them, though - not everybody is going to jump at the chance of being in your crew, you have to do some quests or something first.

She was a weirdo really, she wanted to kill the force.. She hated it, more than the Sith or Jedi. The Eyes of Evi
I don't count Kreia as a Grey Sith, really. She didn't adhere to the Code, after all.
Through my passion I gain strength, through my strength I gain power, through my power I gain victory - through victory, my chains are broken.
Kreia, while a character of the calibre of some Planescape characters I could mention, is not a Grey Sith. She's a Dark Jedi.
Ok, whatever, however in SW they already call people you're talking about Dark Jedi... Or it hasn't been invented yet... But sounds cool though.A Grey Sith would be a force adept who adhered to the Sith Code while not being a psychotic loony.
Yep, he was "a Sith Lord so powerful and wise, that he could manipulate the force to create life... He had such power that he could even stop the ones he loved from dying..." Thats what Sidious told Anakin, but we know Sidious was lying, no Sith had that power, even Darth Plagueis, all life dies. If there is a beginning there is an end."Have you ever heard the story of Darth Plagueis the Wise?"
The Jedi don't believe in using the Force to stave off natural processes. Dying after taking a blaster shot in the gut is what one could count as a natural process.
LOL! I disagree, they do heal because there are many Jedi Healers... They don't try to manipulate the force to heal anything thats going to die naturally... They won't let a Sith force lightning someone and just allow him to kill them, they'd definitely stop the kill, and heal them... Sith don't have friends, as you can see their best friends kill them one day, as Sidious killed Plagueis and Vader killed Sidious.
Oh and Sidious also tells Anakin he killed Plagueis, after he learned everything Plagueis knew. Then later he tells Anakin that he(Sidious) and Anakin can find a way to learn to keep themselves from dying. Surely you can see he was lying, he and Plagueis never knew how to create life, and Sidious was hoping the Jedi knew when he sent Anakin to the Library to steal all Jedi Holocrons, records, kill Jedi and send messages to all Jedi to return.
Anakin turned to the dark side because he didn't want his wife to die... Though i don't think he fully believed Sidious, that's why he tried to reach Master Rank in the Jedi... He knew they would kick him out of the Jedi Order when they found out he was married and was about to become a father... He had no real choice... Which became worse when he attacked Mace, from then on he knew he can never find a way to save her by being a Jedi, as he'd be kicked out. There's a reason Anakin turned to the Dark Side for healing; The Jedi don't heal, they callously let things take their course.

Training simulations, and many more
in SW kotor 1 when u join the sith the training room was awsome u get to try all ur weapons, they should have some thing like that in the new kotor 3, if u kill u get dark side points so they should have like holograms to fight wit, and it should be on eash academy jedi/sith also 1 training room abord the ship , like the way we were fighting the echani woman there has to be all type of combat unarmed , swords/sabers , blasters, and they should have some new reflexes, like rolls, leaps while ur using blasters it would be cool,
ow and they should have dueling matches in all cities just like the swoop bikes, and u should be able to call ur party members for a game of pazzak or for a training duel by the way they should think of some new models for the blasters almost all look the same, as well as the swords, i mean come on, all the bad ass sith lords had crap swords
i mean they look like a ordinary long sword or DB blade, (ex ajunta paul , naaga sadow) and they need to add a few more alien types like that "jar jar" freak hes funny and ewoks and they should have some sort of transport vehicle on each city some thing u can rent or buy running around is boaring, lol and this time the robes should have a change, i mean the jedi robes r ok, but the sith robes should have hoods, like the 1 raven has not all robes at least the dark jedi master robes, and when u become dark side i mean max dark side there should be like smoke comming out of ur eyes or ur foot prints leave fire trails and if ur light side is max, there should be a bright glow around u, and when u creat ur char u should be able to add come sort of tatoos or markings on ur self, like malak's head and u should be able to make some of ur body parts robotic ![Roll Eyes ](./images/smilies/)
