Skipping Intro Movie at Beginning of Titan Quest?
Hey guys I just wanted to ask if anyone knows how to skip that annoying intro movie at the start of the game (the one where a gorgon comes and kills some people and then the Telkine comes). Its kinda bugging me and I wanted to know a way to skip it...if there is one

Go to-
(Hard-Drive Letter):\Program Files\THQ\Titan Quest\Videos
Delete TQCinematic.bik and TQGameIntro.bik off your computer, simple as that really (And I can't believe it took me four months to figure that one out, and I'm a computer tech major)

I hit either the mouse button or the enter button. But here is one interesting side note that I found out. I was running a 512MB PCI express video card. I could by pass the intro with ease...two clicks of the mouse or enter button at the most. But my vid card crapped out on me so until I can get another one ordered, I am dealing with a 128MB PCI (not express) card. It took constant tapping on the mouse or enter key to finally bypass the intro. So I guess, the moral of the story is, if your video card is at the required end instead of the recommended, removing the video files might be your best best. That...or start TQ and then go to bathroom, and then get something to drink to prepare for a night of gaming!!!

Yeah, I know, by saying delete the files I'm referring to "make them stop functioning" and not "Get rid of them."Ballen wrote:Siberys- you don't have to delete the files just rename the Videos folder to something else (ie Videos1) and the program will not be able to find them to run them so you don't have to watch them, but if you ever do want to see them again you just rename it back to videos.
Plus, who would actually want to see that horrible cinematic opening anymore? The chicks voiceover is horrid sounding, and the whole fight scene was kind of subpar in terms of CGI (the animation of the scene, the actual scene itself of the guy fighting the medusa was cool, it could have used better animation though).
