Titan Quest Won't Work

I tried opening and it goes to the normal black screen, but doesn't go further. Then my cursor flashes slowly.

PLEASE HELP!!
I either get what I want, or change my mind.

First off, the given questions.

Have you reinstalled it?
Do you have the system requirements for the game?
Listen up maggots, Mr. Popo's 'bout to teach you the pecking order.

Yes, I have the requirements. But it's working again now :eek:

Also, if I did re-install it, wouldn't I lose all my characters?
I either get what I want, or change my mind.
